It's speculated to be set before 3rd Strike and after SF4.

From what I understand, the Street Fighter series goes like this- SF1>SFA1-3>SF2>SF4>SF3>SF5. So yeah, it takes place a couple years after 4 at least.

Yes. Balrog is Mike Bison there (since he is a parody of Mike Tyson, but the western translation teams were afraid that wouldn't fly) and Vega is Balrog.
Interesting thing that E3 kinda drags the smaller companies (like Paradox Interactive) into the spotlight as well, since they're starting a series of dev diaries for updates and etc. that will be releasing around the time of E3

They're not on the exhibitor's list. Chet tweeted he'll be there nomad style to check out VR demos and whatnot. So unless there will be an announcement at one of the pressers it's unlikely they'll have anything to show.

I mostly just want a new Left 4 Dead game so that they can add a decent matchmaking system. Playing VS in L4D 1 or 2 was just playing the first 5 minutes of a campaign at which point one team would realize the other players were way better and they would all rage quit.

Last thing they said anything about it was back in 2011 when they said they're still working on it and it is shaping up, but uh this is the last year for Sony's support of the PS3 so..

I think I read it somewhere that Valve was experimenting with proper ranked MM in L4D, but thought it didn't work well. Though if they want L4D3 to be a thing it'll need something like that.

I think they didn't updated much aside from the framerate and the resolution. Maybe better textures?
It's mostly eye candy, like all previous remastered games.
