The last two games, while they had great story and environment, were made in the Gamebryo engine. People want FO4 cause it will most likely be made with the same engine used for Skyrim (or a better version), and thus much prettier

I don't think people want fallout 4 because it'll use the same engine man. If anything I think they want it to NOT be on the gamebryo engine.

We've been four years without Fallout content with Lonesome Road being the final DLC for New Vegas, which came out five years ago. And we've been seven years without a 'main' Fallout entry into the series, with 3 being released in 2008.
Being a fan since the very first isometric Fallout, I'm just really craving a new Fallout game. Plus, like the above posts already pointed, with the new (well.. new-ish) engine Skyrim used, people want to see the Fallout series receive the same facelift. But you know.. a new-new engine.
The classics and modern Fallout titles are really good if you haven't checked them out yet, despite Bethesda's version of Gamebryo being crude they're still pretty decent - but better with mods.
Though I guess I'd have to say Fallout 1 and 2 would be kinda.. a bit much on a newcomer? Not saying it'll be extremely difficult or anything, but there is a huge gameplay difference between the isometric Fallout games and the FPS ones we have today.

Well Skyrim wasn't on Gamebryo engine (it was called the creation engine if I recall)

iirc the Creation engine is essentially an improved version of the Gamebryo engine.
Not literally the exact same engine, but you know, the foundation is Gamebryo.

I don't think anyone can truly understand how hype I am for this. Underground 2 is probably my favorite game ever and if what they say is true they're heading back to those roots. There being a Rauh-Welt Begriff Porsche and a Rocket Bunny FRS featured is fucking awesome.
On the topic of NFS Underground music, 2 introduced me to my favorite band, Queens of the Stone Age.

I will say one thing good about EA games. They really know how to put together a good soundtrack. Hell, SSX games also had great song choices. They've introduced me to a lot of bands.

Words cannot express on how much I miss that game along with other 'old EA' titles.
Oh my God the memories of triggering fuckloads of explosions in the Crash game mode just makes me want to go download an emulator just to try it out again.

I'd love that, and still have a little faith in BioWare despite their tumblings. Inquisition was honestly pretty good except for some of the characters and the MMORPG-esque fetch quests - better than II to me atleast
Don't know if they have separate teams though or not, cause last E3 it looked like they were focused on the next Mass Effect.
They could always give it to another developer though I suppose, one that can handle it with care.

It's still a great engine, I wouldn't mind Fallout 4 using an improved creation engine
