Even just spectator mode for games like Dota or Starcraft could be amazing with Hololens.
I'll admit it, I didn't initially realise that this was displayed through the Hololense and thought it was an actual hologram.
The sheer amazement was incredible before I realised what it actually was. Still incredibly impressed.

Okay, so what you're seeing is semi legit. The solid projection isn't something you'll see when it's projected onto a sheet of glass. They'll have some transparency on objects, which won't be as immersive. The tracking probably won't be as smooth as the camera's system they used. The'll likely be glare issues as well. But it's still hella cool in my book.
Weird that they chose only the first Gears of War. GoW2 was the best, hands down in my opinion.
