Really!? Oh jeez, it's really happening.
Oh fuck me if this time it's a hoax I'll strangle a cactus with my dick
Oh my fuck, I just went to not really caring about E3 to fucking full hype stations. I really hope they move to a less buggy engine for fallout 4.
beth'd really have to knock it out of the park with an f4 to get me any further than shrug/10 3 paled in comparison to nv imo and TESV: Mod Me Until I'm Good wasn't a good sign of things to come
If Obsidian is making it I am going to fly through the roof with happiness.
Obsidian or bust for me. The only thing Fallout 3 did right was locations with their own stories and even then that had its problems. Oh and the soundtrack, the soundtrack was good.
Please don't be Idtech5 Please don't be Idtech5 Please don't be Idtech5 ~the hype is real~
If Obsidian is making it I am going to fly through the roof with happiness.
Bethesda Game Studios tweeted it, and the bottom of the website lists no other developers, so I wouldn't count on it.
Please don't be Idtech5 Please don't be Idtech5 Please don't be Idtech5 ~the hype is real~
I'd take Idtech over Gamebryo/CreationEngine any day of the week
Being "that guy" who couldn't get into any of the bethesda RPGs because of the lazy use of the gamebyro engine, I would be interested to FINALLY see a bethesda game completely out of the influence of gamebyro.
idtech 5 and creation engine (gamebryo 2.0) are actually equally both garbage in their own special ways. i'd like just a completely new bethsoft engine or maybe idtech 6 but the former is much more likely seeing as how doom 4 is already going to use idtech 6 [editline]2nd June 2015[/editline] also the baseless rumors about fallout 4 being announced soon must have been purported by someone at bethesda since it's actually true! :v
New AI and facial tracking technology allows NPCs to stare directly into your soul.
Let's hope that the combat is actually enjoyable and you aren't forced to use VATS because the shooting sucks so hard
ALL ABOARD THE FALLOUT HYPE TRAIN.
This is going to be a hell of a ride in this e3. Dark Souls 3 announced for e3. Also wow Fallout 4 is happening? I'm trying so hard to not get excited, but it's hard.
I'd take Idtech over Gamebryo/CreationEngine any day of the week
Say goodbye to literally all the modding ability from every game they made since Morrowind! Sure, you could probably do something, but the creation kit is part of what makes it so modular and easy to make, install, and remove mods. The engine they use right now is specifically designed and modified by Bethesda to make it easy, and unless they got the source code to Idtech and heavily modified it similarly, the modding would be gimped to hell and back.
here's to hoping we see LITTLE TO NO MENTION of xbox 360 and ps3 we already know persona 5 and cod blops 3 are going to be on those consoles though. ubisoft is probably still developing bullshit for them though

asscreed 24 future assassin
I'd take a more stable and more modern engine over modding tbh
Modding is what keeps the games alive. If Skyrim had no modding, Nobody would be playing it anymore, let alone even 2 years after release. Modding is what keeps Bethesda's games alive for so long. hell, people are still modding Morrowind even. Removing mods would kill off a massive reason people buy their games.
if their games were better we wouldn't need to mod them so much
if their games were better we wouldn't need to mod them so much
my waifu xxl boobs isn't necessary doesn't mean i don't want it
if their games were better we wouldn't need to mod them so much
You don't need to mod any of them. I would say the closest thing to a vital mod is the unofficial patches, and even then, most things work fine Vanilla. Even then, assuming there are totally vital mods, what about mods that aren't vital, but just fun? Why shouldn't people be able to add a bunch of new guns or armor, or a new quest, or whatever, simply because it's great that you can do it?

Since everyone is hyping for Fallout 4, I'm gonna buy the three games and play through them for the heck of it. :v:
Will it live to it's hype?
or waifus
Even the waifus, yes. :v:

Am I the only one who doesn't have anything against the creation engine being used for Fallout 4 ?(which is the most likely case anyway) The graphics are neat, no potato faces, and modding is very easy. And personally I think using a different engine would ruin part of what defines Bethesda games
