Firewatch could either be really refreshing and great or really pretentious and shit.
It's definantly a tightrope game.
One one hand, it suggests and interesting dark mysterious mystery around being alone in a forest.
On the other it could just be Gone Home with voice acting, and dealing with Divorce rather than Homosexuality.
Firewatch could either be really refreshing and great or really pretentious and shit.
Either way, it has my attention. I love games that feel... off, and that one has that. Nothing feels quite right about it, in a good way.
I'm pretty optimistic about it. The mystery aspect seems pretty awesome and I'm totally in love with the atmosphere.
Then again, I also liked Gone Home. Probably because I breezed through it at a friend's place and I didn't have to pay anything for it.

This is not a realistic simulation of what a mountain you snowboard on looks like. The levels are just as completely balls to the wall insane, just without the early 2000's aesthetic that Tricky had. I fucking love Tricky, but SSX 2012 is an evolution on the same game and is just as good.
and SSX 1/Tricky/3 aren't good because of the tracks, they're good because the controls are incredibly tight and responsive. It was probably the first game I ever played where the control were like an extension of your fingers, it worked so well. SSX 2012 was pretty much that, with more ridiculous tricks (from a gameplay point of view), way quicker gameplay and some stylish graphics and effect.
I honestly have no idea how someone can say it's "just" a modern snowboarding game, I don't think anything about the design of it had any intention of being anything other than a modern version of tricky
I feel bad for bringing this topic back but I never said I thought SSX 2012 was too grounded or anything, I just missed the atmosphere of the old games, with cheering fans and stuff like that. Beyond that, I thought it was a great game that was a lot of fun to play.

I doubt Konami is interested in publishing more console games at the moment, but it would be cool.

From what I heard it might be related to Nintendo in some way.

MGR2 baby.
Please.
PLEASE.
If Konami is gonna suck cock for the rest of their existence, at least let Platinum keep making Rising games.

Remember the MGR "2" that got teased awhile back?
PLEASE Platinum.

Some of the major people in PG have been retweeting tweets about the streams.

While that just might be born of good will (nintendo DID fund two big games of theirs), I'd like to think Nintendo did the same with another game. We'll have to see, I suppose.

The last preview kind of bugged me. The dialogue felt too much like somebody wrote it, if that makes any sense. Like they wanted really great dialogue for every line, but it just didn't sound natural for two people who supposedly just met to me.
The person playing kept not choosing the dialogue options I wanted to hear.

They do this regularly... their previous two tweets were about Wonderful 101 and Bayonetta. Don't interpret too much from it.

Don't know if I can trust this. Sounds like bs to me.
It's fake.
Those logos are ugly as fuck, and CS: Guns on Us is a stupid name. Obvious fake.
I have decided, one day before E3 or an hour before E3, I shall remake this thread otherwise I'd have to make it midway through a stream.
Why would Valve release another CS. They just managed to bring CS:GO from like 40,000 players peak to 574,007 players peak with a good in-game economy. It makes no sense from a finance standpoint.
The biggest thing announced this year from Valve could POSSIBLE be Left 4 Dead 3 but I doubt they will do that at E3
Anyway, I'd love a new metal gear rising JUST for a new soundtrack. It just has to be this way
There were plenty of ridiculous over the top levels, they just didn't look like vomit.
It seems you guys just want a HD remake of SSX3/Tricky.
Honestly yeah I'd buy remakes of those two in a heartbeat.
Also the only "over-the-top" (in quotations because they still really weren't) levels were paid DLC and they only made them to appeal to the people who missed when EA still had an ounce of non-realism creativity in them.
The thing about the new SSX isn't that it's a bad game, it's that it's a bad SSX game. It's missing a fuckton of all the memorable elements from 1, Tricky, and 3 era.

Realistically speaking, if Valve were to attend E3, it would be to talk about three things.
1. Source 2
2. Steam Machines
3. Possibly L4D3?
And that would be it.
