Seriously though, holy shit how successful where they expecting Sonic Boom to be if they were (presumably) designing two handheld games from the same spinoff so close together? There is no conceivable way that Sega would've been in shape to make/(or publish?) this game (very long) after the release of the first title and the WiiU title considering what poor shape Sega is in and how poorly the first two games sold.

sonic boom fire and ice looks like a legit good sonic game, and with pretty baller music to boot.

i still have hope for it but i have no expectations for it at this year's E3 because at this point being wrong is just a preventable annoyance.
i'd rather it be a surprise all over again. "oh it lives! it's back! hurray!"

They do, but it's a very small booth (turtle beach has a bigger booth than them, for christ's sake). I'm sure we'll get some more V gameplay this year, maybe even a final trailer.

They did say that it will reappear in some form again. They will rethink the implementation after the shitstorm though.

Oh come on, you can't blame Nintendo for being afraid that a Sonic Boom game would no doubt inevitably cannibalize all the other games with all the positive ratings Sonic Boom would recieve. :v:
