If recall by what they originally said about the Meatwall in L4D2, it was more or less just supposed to be something invincible to make you race to the end of the level before it caught up to you.

The L4D3 part sounds legit to me. But I wouldnt believe it either.

Man, I hope there'll be atleast a few unnanounced things shown at E3. So many games are being announced before E3 right now, I was hoping to see them first during the conferences. Would've been pretty hype.

What really told me it was a lie was the description of the 'reaper' infected.
Did Valve suddenly decide that invisible zombies weren't such a bad idea after all? Dev commentary in L4D2 said that spitters were originally shriekers and would run away/hide/turn invisible, but playtesters didn't understand what was going on when the shrieker screamed and ran away, they also had difficulty finding her especially when she decided to turn invisible.

There's also the fact that Crawler is literally just a Killing Floor zombie with no changes to it at all. And Quiller is nowhere near the level of creativity they've previously displayed for special infected names.
