As hype as I am for such a game...is that what we want for Platinum's new game? I would have much preferred a new ip, rather than a tiein game. Hopefully it'll be better than the Korra game they also were licensed to make.

Ehh, I don't think that's made by Platinum. Something about the camera angles used in the preview shots. Like, you can tell you're looking at a Platinum game just by looking at it. Even Korra.
Don't get me wrong, I'd adore a Transformers Platinum game, but that doesn't look like a Platinum game.
Plus all of Platinum's stuff on twitter makes reference to "hell" and "blood" and I don't really think of either of those things when I think of Transformers.

Who knows? Maybe it's like High Moon where two halves of a studio are working on two different games around the same time (Deadpool and the Advanced Warfare port on the PS3). If this is true, then that means one half is making Transformers and the other one is making Revengeance 2, Scalebound, and/or another IP. Sadly it's also confirmed that High Moon is now only working on Destiny instead of Bungie. Platinum is the only studio most can agree on because they teamed up with Activison for Korra. So far from the "Xbot" article the game is set for the Xbox 360, with PS4, One, and PS3 unconfirmed for now. Can't expect much from a magazine deadset on covering only one system.

If Mr. Lightning Bolt's game is anything, Platinum Games can do campy writing. From the looks if it, this is probably going to be a full on G1 tribute with campiness up the ying-yang, which I'm 50/50 for.

Huh. 171 employees, compared to High Moon's current estimate of 100. Not really sure how to make of that. Then again, it is all a rumor by a Xbox Magazone about 8-9 hours ago so anyone can be making this game. I just hope that the developer isn't Edge of Reality, whose only credit is making the ever so shitty Rise of The Dark Spark and the PS3 port of Dragon Age: Origins.

Titanfall 2 is a known thing, and Red Dead Redemption's sequel would, in no way, be called Redemption 2.
