I feel like SEGA should just team up with Nintendo for a few years in general, even if it means becoming a second party company.
If there's one company SEGA could rely on the most, it's probably their old rival Nintendo.
But for the last few years they have been in an exclusivity deal with Nintendo and it's been a bit average to flat out awful.
After hitting a high with Generations it dropped down to Lost World and then plummeted through the earth for Sonic Boom.

I blame that towards SEGA because they were the ones in charge of what they wanted to do.
If they made a deal where Nintendo was in charge of what they did, or at least have some kind of input, I feel like the outcome would have been different.
Nintendo will probably come out of the corner, announce a US release date for Yoshi's Epic Yarn, and maybe Yo-Kai Watch. then after the initial preview, they add an episode to the Anime channel at a rate of 1 episode per 2 weeks, supposedly there's rumors that they're already dubbing it. Reggie will take up his promise of last year and try to kick someone's ass in Sm4sh.
Star Fox gets stated for summer, and that non-notable robot game gets retooled into something else....they'll avoid talking about Zelda, then it shifts to 3DS stuff; Fire Emblem If's general plot, the Animal Crossing Happy Homes spinoff and batch 2 of the SMB variant amiibo with some other Smash Amiibo? (calling Rosalina, Wario and...what other characters are in Party 10 anyway?) they'll haphazardly announce Roy whilst some overzealous fandom guy crawls onto the stage screaming "where's volcanion? how about Ryu?, can Namco use Gardevoir in Smash since you let [consolemaker X] get Tales titles?"
Wouldn't mind if they announced Pokemon Z/XY2, the 2 could even be colored similarly to Zygarde, ORAS made better use of wifi.
Yo, is it okay that I have permission to update the bingo card and give it a bit of an uplift? Incase anyone else was in the process of touching it up right now.
Lost World wasn't, y'know, absolutely terrible, but it wasn't amazing. It was straight up mediocre. Sonic Boom...honestly haven't played it, and I don't think I want to.

Go ahead man, I encourage you all to join this little game before E3 starts.
The more cards the more fun.

still wondering how they managed to screw up lost world. they had the same writers as colors, and they went with the sonic x-treme's interesting tube-like level design, and they still managed to botch it up.
Updated the card a little bit more with more suggests from this thread.

Again, I highly encourage you guys to take this and re-edit it as your own if you want to add/modify anything.
remove source 2 from L4D3 announcement, and change X running in source 2 to just plain source 2
Geez, the thread is already too fast to keep up with and it's still nearly a month away.
Just wait until E3 actually starts.
This thread will reach 5.000 posts within the first few days.
valve didn't announce their presence when they announced l4d2 back in 2009, also they have not said anything about not attending e3 this year (last year they said they wouldn't be attending iirc)
You're correct, but also remember that it was announced during Microsoft's event. Valve has taken a radically different platform support direction since then so I don't really think they'd show up on Microsoft's presser again...
And they did sort of announce it when they appeared at Sony's conference in 2011 to announce Portal 2 for the PS3.

I think only one Valve thing is necessary (Valve Source 2 game announced) or sth like that

Most of it will be salt and hatred. Or, my posts basically.
There's been hints Rare is working on a pretty amazing project which ties into their heritage (it's a 30 year anniversary for them coming up).
So Banjo/Battletoads/Conker or a new Rare led Bond Game. Either way "Continuation of existing Rare IP" should be on there. I doubt it's something they've not done before and it won't be sports.
If it's Battletoads then God help those Gamestop employees.
Also, added some stuff that I saw in the thread.

does DOOM 4 count as a sequel no one asked for? I mean, people who played the original stuff hated DOOM II and DOOM 3, but the people who started with those ones didn't want anything new

yeah having l4d3 and gabe in the same row is redundant
well, here's my bingo card with a few alterations made and some of my sense of humor added in.

any suggestions or things I missed, should change, or add in right now? went with sort of a unified look for the text to make it easy to read on the tiles.

What the hell are you talking about. People didn't hate Doom II, and we've been waiting years for another Doom game.

Konami doesn't mention Kojima/Kojima's name is gone from Metal Gear promo material.
So hoping for EA to come out and announce a new SSX off the back of the 2012 reboot, which was really good.
I remember reading reports at the time that a senior figure at EA Labels was impressed with how the reboot was handled and it sold really well.
EA's other big reboot this year, SSX, apparently fared a bit better. Gibeau called this year's revival "a very successful launch for us," and lauded the game's "online innovation" as a catalyst for bringing the series back. "It's done well and you'll probably see more in the future," Gibeau concluded.
Final Fantasy XV release date.
I seriously think Valve should put out Left 4 Dead 3. It's a great crowd pleasing game, and even though zombies are played out as flying fuck Left 4 Dead is so good you could replace them with cows and it'd still be a great game.
Although I'd be worried how they'd inievitably work microtransactions into it.
I really don't understand anyone's excitement for L4D3. L4D2 was a kinda cool update but every L4D game gets so boring so fast for me. After I play it for a month or two I never ever go back to it, it's just a rather forgettable game for me I guess.
Can you add in Mountain Dew and Dorritos making an appearance? Seems like something we are gonna see.

To me, it's not a matter of being excited, it's a matter of what I think is the best game to be the first to showcase what Source 2 can do.
Yes, Half Life 3 would be better overall, but it's also way more risky for Valve.

Though we have a full row of Nintendo already, I think the Ryu DLC character announcement for Smash should be a spot.

Hopefully my tile placement and word phrasing isn't too bad.
Do tell me if a space is stupid/doesn't make sense.

The EA space is suppose to say no changes instead of no charges, right?

Ah, you're right. Hastily wrote that one up while looking at the original. Fixed it.

I think it's because it has no skill trees to mix up the gameplay flow. Much better horde games like Killing Floor and Payday 2 have these things.
Luckily Overkill, payday's devs, are working on a Walking Dead title, and I'm expecting it to be L4D with skill trees and customization. There's also a rumor that Dallas from payday will appear in the game.
[editline]18th May 2015[/editline]
Come to think of it I don't think any valve game had weapon attachments or a XP skill system.
Most you get is per game MvM shop, and the pointless duck XP
but what if the lights went out and gab walked ou nd was like HALF LIFE 3!!!

Should have one right next to anita that says "thing that isn't feminist but is labeled feminist anyway"
What about "very obvious prerender touted as live gameplay" for the bingo.
