i be getting rid of the trees expect crashing
So I managed to get an error log: http://pastebin.com/tWbwsqB0 This has been happening ever since I placed the socket frame down. I haven't been able to get into the server since. No idea what it means but I'm guessing something in engineer's toolbox is fucking up server-side.
hmmm
did you try to reinstall the modpack and connecting without deleting any mods
Is it currently stuck like this for anyone else? : Got a timed out message after mastfire hopped on to do whatever last night, and it's been like that ever since. Usually rejects the connection straightaway when it's down.

In our case it's most likely the MFR harvester trying to take out the rubber tree at hyperspeed, but it could also be engineer's toolbox (i doubt it). The only way to fix this is to get the offending mod's creator to throttle the packets, or create a patch ourselves. basically the bandwidth is overloaded which is why people keep timing out

And also threw in a auto-save every 20 minuets to prevent any data loss even tho there has not been any. If you guys need anything ill be happy to provide a little assistance.
instead of a daily restart, put the cron job to 6 or 12 hour restart thanks adamguy
When I have time, maybe I'll update forge for you guys to rule out that possible issue Finals week though, so it might be a while
When I have time, maybe I'll update forge for you guys to rule out that possible issue Finals week though, so it might be a while
The issue with this is your stuck with the current forge build for the next year. Cauldron is dead again.
;(

Also one of the crashes earlier today was CodeChicken Chunk Loaders unable to identify an object (Or just CC in general).

Also one of the crashes earlier today was CodeChicken Chunk Loaders unable to identify an object (Or just CC in general).
There is a slight possibility that the chunk loader error could have been because of me. Yesterday I set a spot loader up on my generator and near a dimensional transceiver so the transceiver I had set on the Harvester would keep getting power. The only other loader I know of was the one that was near the Harvester. Oddly every chunk/spot loader that was already on the server vanished yesterday, prior to "operation get rid o' sacred world killer".
i also have a new chunk loader set up again at my farm after the loader-wipe, but before operation:lumberjack although if there was an error it would've been there for like the entire time i've been playing probably because i haven't changed much about that area other than moving my logistics pipes into a tesseract system. the entire system is in bounds though when checked by F9 and laser guides
I think it was before the tree happened that the server was crashing because of something to do with chunkloaders. Long story short, we removed chickenchunks, ran the server, then reinstalled them. If you guys are going to use chunkloaders, feel free to set them back up. A bonus to this, all the extra unused chunkloaders are gone and the server got a pretty big performance boost, sacred trees aside

If not, should there be?
Is there a limit or rule about how many chunks we can have loaded at once from things that are not our own player? If not, should there be?
if you need more than 10 chunks you're doing something horribly wrong
Working on getting rid of the trees. Theres more than one. Somehow.
Alright, trees are gone. Semi-random crashes also hopefully fixed.
Nope, still crashing. I'm all for a reset if that's what it takes. I have a lot of but sometimes starting out is more fun then end game :D
Alright, 100% sure that the problems have been solved this time.
Not everything Ok whoever it was with the dimensional transceiver trying to help cut down the tree, im going to need to delete it. I'll reimburse you, but I dont know who exactly you are so speak up
Did it just crash again? I just tried to join.
I got a server closed message instead of a crash so someone may have taken it down.

If it did come back, no worries about replacing it.
My bad, read the log backwards. Seems like cavedwellers base is causing the issues, I'm going to see what I can do about it. Anyone near his base I'll have to relocate somewhere else while its being fixed, sorry for the inconvienence.

Magyar is now crashing upon join as well as me. My ign is Cavedweller123 if you didn't already know.
Guys, I know most of you are mad at mastfire for doing something dumb, but we all have to realize that everyone makes mistakes. It's a learning experience, and after the debt has been payed we no longer have any reason to remain angry. Live and let live, ya'll get what I'm sayin?
How will this debt be paid? Maybe spankings?
How will this debt be paid? Maybe spankings?
He must speak like a tree-hugging hippie from now on.
