Technic launcher's retardedly steadfast determination to put the game into the appdata folder (why does Minecraft love that goddamn folder so much anyway?) irritates me. I'm trying to get the thing to fucking stay on the SSD and work for more than 3 or 4 launches. Having to reinstall because it hanged at loading for a bizarrely long time.
In any other installation program, if you point it to a folder that doesn't exist, it'll create it. For this, it throws a hissy fit, then shoves it's data into the default .technic anyway, which by default doesn't even exist so why does that folder get an exception? And to make matters worse, if there's a single other thing in the folder you point it to, it has another tantrum.

Banandana i'm now far more interested in that launcher idea you were throwing about earlier.
my game takes about 10-20 minutes to launch every single time i want to play. i'm used to it. sall good.
Things that will change in version 2.00 which will be released soon:
- recipe conflicts will no longer be a thing
- adding a mining world
- updating minechem
- updating tinker's construct
- adding NEI integration mod for more NEI information
- updating MFR
- fixing microblock-chisel config to allow chisel microblocks (partially done)
- MFR planters/harvesters will work with magical crops due to my new patch mod
2.00 still WIP but above is what is already finished
To-do:
- Update Open* mods

Anyway, I notice you've removed Metallurgy. It will be sorely missed. But other than that, all the other mods I love are in this new pack. Thaumcraft, Ender IO, JABBA, Thermal Expansion, Railcraft, Big Reactors, etc.
Hm, no Xeno's Reliquary. Which is fine cause it's OP anyway.

Apparently the Trackman's Goggles from Railcraft make [URL="http://forum.feed-the-beast.com/threads/trackmans-goggles.20759/#post-431035"] invisible blocks[/URL] that can prevent other blocks from being placed in that area.
whoever has the ender chest combination blue/white/blue, congratulations, you're now considerably richer and i've lost out on loads of stuff :(

Craft them in a normal crafting table and it'll go well.
The problem with the crafting table isn't exactly the issue (it somewhat is so don't use any other), the problem is openblocks graves because the ingots don't disappear when they blow up, they stay in your grave so if you open your grave and pick them up you'll blow up, again, and again, until they either despawn or a moderator picks them up and destroys them.
Mostly finished the lighthouse/tower; need to sort out the interior and improve the little dock.

Its a Mekanism Advanced Solar Panel. Its more so there as while the Wind Turbines are technically better as they work 24/7, too many can cause very noticeable lag.
Unless it's been heavily revised, I thought Mekanism caused a ton of lag anyway due to how it turns its cables (and anything connected to them) into multi-block structures.
They've been improved.
BC Builders Filler machine seems stuck on "Clear" mode regardless of what you configure in the interface.
Lost most of my energy production and part of my base.

All I know is I once had a base where I used Mekanism cables and my FPS dropped to the low 20s and below when I was near my machinery. Once I replaced them all with redstone conduits my FPS shot up to 75 minimum.
