use a pump with your quarry
Not quite workable with a 62x62 quarry area, unless their functionality's been changed such that they'll suck up whatever non-water liquids the quarry head is pointing at. In any case it's a minor speed bump, I just don't really get why the quarry gets stuck on oil.
Ender quarry has a pump upgrade that removes liquids as well as mines. It's bugged at the moment though (stops when encounters normal water).

For anyone using Big Reactors for power generation, I've written a small ComputerCraft management script for them. http://pastebin.com/ccdmndtA
You'll need a reactor computer port, an advanced computer, two wired modems and some network cables.
Hook the first modem up to your reactor's computer port. Then, place down your advanced computer somewhere near the reactor.
Hook the second modem to the bottom side of the advanced computer (can actually be any side, the bottom is most convenient though) then network cable them together.
Right click the modem attached to the reactor to get it's peripheral name, e.g. "BigReactors-Reactor_2"

Type in "pastebin get BipYuQfF startup" , wait a few seconds, then type "edit startup" (both of these without quotes)
Under local reactor = peripheral.wrap("string reactorname"), replace the name in quotes with the name of your reactor.
Save, exit, then reboot.
If all goes well, you should see "Initializing Vertex Co. Reactor Watchdog" appear in the console.
Hopefully I didn't miss anything.
