I do not know how many of these keys are still good, but they are being posted 100 at a time on facebook by hitechlegion. Not many people are liking or commenting on the posts so I am assuming a lot of them are still good, so if you can not wait for open beta than try them out.

Dunno, I thought it was odd at first too, but then assault is more about brute force and utility over finesse, so a square reinforced cockpit frame seems appropriate enough.
It could have been "converted" from a mech meant for maintenance or cargo transport from the looks of it.
The design speaks "the mech isn't fancy, but it gets the job done."

Great! I can finally try this game.
Surprised this thread is dead considering it (basically) just came out.
(open beta that you can buy stuff for = might as well be released).
I'm surprised how well the game ran on my laptop. The only element which causes major framerate issues seem to be the UI in the menus; animated elements give me great amounts of mouse lag, whereas actually playing the game seems to be happening without too many problems. It's a fun game, though.
for some reason the friends menu would always lag me to hell, and I've got a beastly computer. might just be a current issue on that part

It's running on Unreal Engine 3, so if you can run Unreal Tournament 3 or Borderlands or Batman Arkham Asylum/City, you're fine.

I can win a 2v1 in the Walking TV but I only make about 100-150 a game.
Its a fun game for an hour or two and then I just get bored. Movement, shooting, and map design are solid, and I am in love with the art design and mech models but there just isn't enough depth to keep me interested.
Not to mention it lacks the tactical fidelity.
Heck, even WoT has a lot more depth than this gameplay wise.
Still well made though.
