Anybody else who's already been in Alpha think there needs to be more visual cues as to what the shit is happening? I just hate it when I get killed by a guy using his weapon cooldown ability and I don't realize it until I'm already dead because I overheated and he didn't.
If they're using a cooldown I want to see plumes of steam expelling from the weapon struts, and if somebody is using extra damage I better see some red hot barrels or something.
played it and.. meh. is it bugged or are sniper rifles in this game really the most inaccurate thing imaginable? i'll shoot a gun with "100% accuracy" and from 20 feet away at a wall it will hit 5 feet above where i'm aiming outside of my crosshair. either i'm doing something wrong or they don't know the point of a sniper rifle?

you need to be scoped in or else it's incredibly inaccurate. hit middle mouse.
Dont worry I can barely play. Menus are slow as fuck and they keep re-syncing my account. I was finally able to connect to a game but then I got a weird camera for a minute and then lost connection.
But alpha is alpha.
Can anyone else not change their advanced video settings?
game is incredibly unoptimized atm and when on all low everything is just grey and a darker shade of grey and lighter shades of grey for enemy mechs.
I can't even change any of the settings in the advanced window, I can only switch between the presets low, medium, high, and ultra. Every time I adjust a setting and hit apply, it'll just reset itself.

My game crashes. And when i try to edit the settings, it doesnt save and crashes. Now i cant even open it.
hahah wow this game is amazingly easy as assault. ASSAULT RIFLE OWNS. so does the rocket launcher if you know how to use it

also i absolutely love how when you are so damaged you get disoriented solely because there's so much clutter on the screen. holy shit, i was cringing with 8 hp left while getting shot at and dashing to safety. shift + s is god's gift to backing out of a hot zone. It's such a hassle to chase dashing enemies because they fly right through their allies to cover so when they're critical and you can't kill them it's a real FFFUUUUUU moment, especially when they come back a minute later with AP rounds and tear your shitty mech to shreds

just got into the alpha, played my first game as rocketeer
i had no idea what i was doing but i killed two people like a winner
everyone knows that rockets are the most badass
Just went 33-4 with assault flak, god damn I love this game.
It's probably best to register again for people that did months back, signed up 2 days ago, in now.
