I watched a couple play Hawken at a Comic Convention a few weeks back
sadly I didn't get a chance to try it out 'cause my friends wanted to browse other things...

Aside from horrendous optimization, I am thoroughly impressed. Though they really do need to work on that, I've pulled the short straw in a lot of CQB situations because it basically turns into a slideshow from all the particles and whatnot.
I've yet to get used to the key binds and the customization, but all things considered, this game is awesome.

Holy shit is this game really in alpha? everything feels great. Control's great, graphic looks nice and it is very very optimized for an alpha build even my old PC can run it smoothly.
Servers are always full though :(
I just got into the Alpha. Does anyone else play with a Nvidia surround or eyefinity setup with this game? I was messing around with the console and could change my FOV but not the HUD FOV. Any help?

it's not optimized at all are you high?
one thing which is a major piss off is having to sync your account. atm it's quite a hassle to get in to a server and then suddenly getting kicked back to the main menu and having to re-sync your account (which can take anywhere from 1 minute to 5 minutes) is annoying as fuck

I can run every game on the market at the moment on ultra with no problems and the second i loaded up this game on high it was having major issues. and it's not like it's the most beautiful game out there either to demand that much from my computer
Just played a match where some guy with a horrible horrible mic kept it on at all times.. I'm not sure if he even tried to speak, but the screeching noise made it sound like the player was screaming the entire time.
Oh well, I'm enjoying this quite a lot. Won that round 18/6 or so. :D
