At least it means they are intending to have a squad system in the game
I'm still waiting for a galaxy drop into a zombie infested city to liberate it from dirty bandits.

I don't even recognise those images. I'm a terrible person.
I don't even recognise those images. I'm a terrible person.
It's from Psycho [editline]17th February 2015[/editline] Or also Bates Motel (the TV series, which is pretty good IMO)
Really guys, it took you that long?
came across a base in hte mountains that had about 8 chests, each one full of stuff many rifles, pistols, lots of ammo, multiple batteries and sparkplugs as well as other vehicle parts, almost 100 purified water, food, cloth, first aid kits, bandages, you get the idea seemed very legit
They need to fix being able to hope over walls, it's fucking ridiculous. Our base was invaded via rabbit traps.. All out stuff gone, car gone. Oh and Metal Doors can't be broken but the rest of the fucking shack can! We need to be able to put barbed wire on the walls. I think the best way to combat the issue of people using furnaces to jump over walls would be to create a 50m radius around foundations in which no one can place any objects - unless they are part of your squad.

Is it just me or is that improvised backpack model ripped straight from dayz SA?
hate the cheaters
Update Notes 2/20 H1Z1 servers will be coming down tonight at 3AM and remain down for 2 hours. Patch Notes | 20/02/15 *Weapons* Increased shotgun damage Slightly increased shotgun recoil Increased 1911 damage *Battle Royale* Cleaned up persisting rewards and safe zone information between Battle Royale matches *Base Building* Upper Level Walls, Shelters, and Stairs can now be crafted. These look like the walls, stairs, and shelters that you are used to, but they can be stacked on top of placed walls and shelters. This means that metal walls can now be two walls high. Structures can be placed on top of other structures for more variation of layout. Stairs can be placed on top of shelters for greater vantage points. The Metal Gate is now almost twice as tall. Metal Walls, Shelters and Large Shelters now require more of the same components to craft. *Vehicles* Vehicle collisions with terrain boulders should be more stable, still dangerous but less likely to toss the vehicle up in the air. Adjusted the requirements for vehicle entry to help improve the response time. Vehicle death explosions should now consistently damage players in the immediate vicinity. We need ceilings and door ways for higher levels. You can infinitely stack over things.
are you still invincible against the green gas at end to late game in BR?
Can confirm that clever placement of containers can lead to actually managing to keep hold of your stuff. Found a furnace at my base but all stuff was still in my container. While 2-wall high walls are good, people will still be able to hope over them. They just need to instate a building limit around foundations that apply to all but the person who placed the foundation.
I wonder if they will add new maps
I wonder if they will add new maps
The map is supposed to get notably bigger by launch iirc. They've scaled down a lot of things, such as the map and number of zombies, for testing purposes.
Me and a friend got sieged by a 9 man chinese squad, we have a sniper tower on our fort, things were bad before so all we had was 24 bullets. Split between rifle ar and pistols. We killed 15 of them before we both died and they found a way in the fort (They kept running back when they died and picked their stuff) The siege lasted nearly two hours they used over 100 shots shame my friend did not stream at that time all i have is the moment they stormed us. Pretty much the best experience i had so far [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/g56KvZO.jpg[/img_thumb] Bonus best viewed with the sniper elite 2 main menu theme 5th siege today, this is kinda sad, anyone from europe willing to team up with us, we kinda need more people here.

I've made the transformation from murderboner psycho bandit into vigilante justice hero. Previously it was my goal just to murder as many people as possible in a single life span. Today, however, I changed the way I play. I was doing my usual scavenging, trying to get my hands on decent gear. All I had was a makeshift bow, I had plenty of ammo but no weapons. I was in a two story house, and just found a piece of twine so I believe I was able to make the better wooden bow, which I think saved my life. After ditching the shitty bow I headed down stairs, and I ran into a guy with a helmet - and a pistol. It was too late to ditch stealthily because he was waiting for me. I tried to reason with him, and he started chasing after me. I managed to make my way around him, ran outside and hid behind some trees and readied my bow. He came after me with a machete, and I struck him once with the bow before pulling out my hatchet and putting in the finishing blows. He cut me up pretty bad but that was alright, since when I looted him he had a first aid kit. I believe I got a hunting rifle which I had 4 bullets for, and a M1911 which I had a full magazine for, along with a frame backpack, helmet, and some other misc stuff. After looting him I realized he didn't have ammo for the 1911, and was just waving it around to intimidate me. It was after that, that I decided to start helping people at their most vulnerable, instead of murdering them. I wandered around during the day, doing my usual looting and searching, and while I couldn't find things I wanted (metal sheets, ammo, weapons etc) I did get a bunch of basic crafting gear. I ran into several new spawns who have been having a rough time, and I would craft them a satchel, a makeshift hatchet, a makeshift bow and some arrows and send them on their way. My time to shine came at night, however. I was crossing a long bridge and when I reached about midway, three players on the opposite side of the bridge appeared to be shooting at me. I took cover behind a car and pulled out my hunting rifle and scoped in, to discover that it was actually two decently geared players ganking a new spawn. I shot the guy closest to him twice in the chest and dropped him, and the second guy took off running the second I returned fire. However, he didn't get far. The new spawn was some random Chinese guy who couldn't speak English very well, but I managed to get him healed up, and after I got done picking what I wanted from the two corpses (mainly ammo), I let him loot them. I've got to say, the nice-guy-hero persona feels a lot better than being a giant asshole, and karma seems to favor it since this is also the most successful I've ever been and the longest I've ever survived.
