I've killed Many a faceless void as Phantom Lancer, All PL needs is some HP, Diffusal Blade and thats pretty much it. His Agi gain Gives him the Armour to survive even the most well placed chrono and the innate magic resistance from his ult deals with any nuker that may aspire to take him down.

Well, if we assume both heroes have infinite gold, best PL can really do is stack hearts or butterflies, since +DMG or +ASP won't work on the illusions, Void can stack whatever he wants because he isn't limited by that.
Battlefury, Butterfly, Heart, MKB, Satanic maybe a Rapier, these make Void beat PL in a fight. Battlefury reveals the real PL, and as soon as he knows who is the real one, he can just stunlock him and kill him.
Haven't lost to Lancer in forever. You just gotta play smart.
Best carry under ideal conditions is PA.
Gotta roll them natural 20's.
If we are talking perfect rolling then it's Tiny. Bonk him and he stuns you. Natural 20 motherfuckerrrrrrr.

Yeah, and if you've looked any further, than you'd notice that I almost never build it. It's a high-risk high-reward item, something I never choose unless my team is already losing.
I hate building it on Void, in all honesty.

They must've been underfarmed or horrible Faceless Voids, because a six-slotted Faceless with a Battlefury will outcarry a six-slotted PL any day.

he can farm stacked camps in like five seconds, which makes him stupidly effective
Dark Seer is sick at jungling, dat Ion Shell.
On the topic of void/medusa vs pl, I've found that while yes, they beat him when fully farmed, he can rax much faster than they can.
i dont understand shit about this game but it seems fun
