Iirc they're basically equal. Doom possibly slightly stronger. They needed to team up to deal with him because SD has set up a tremendous cult that absolutely NEEDED to be stopped - but was too big for them to handle seperately.

Doom is significantly stronger than all three, lore-wise, but Shadow Demon set up a giant cult which if gotten out of hand would've eventually overpowered Doom. Doom commanded Shadow Fiend to help him destroy the cult, and so they did.

Shadow Fiend doesn't work for Doom, and it was Shadow friend who discovered the cult anyhoo, so Doom couldn't have commanded SF to do shit because it was SF who asked Doom for help.
It even points out that SF and Doom don't work together in Shadow Demon's lore.

Doom is lucifer, he rules hell. I think shadow demon broke the umbral pact by making a cult, so they got pissed and destroyed his body.

Ehhh, I think it's more Doom thinks he's better then Shadow Fiend, not that SF is actually Doom's bitch. Even if he had been in the service of Doom at some point in time, he doesn't seem to be during the time of Shadow Demon's lore, and he certainly isn't currently.
