Due to that, Tidehunter really should have a line associated with it, like "At long last, the lost treasure of Maelrawn!" or "May Maelrawn reveal all to me, through this gem!"

I hope they expand it even more.
Does anyone have that hilarious photoset where people played as the LOTR cast and dropped a ring of health as meepo in the dire spawn?
http://imgur.com/a/tMgCz
[t]http://i.imgur.com/lDVp7qZ.jpg[/t] i think tinker is actually somehow creepier than sniper

I'm starting to think that all of valve's writers are just sat around with nothing to do so they just write dota lore all day.
I'm starting to think that all of valve's writers are just sat around with nothing to do so they just write dota lore all day.
Well, since HL3/EP3 nowhere to be seen, makes sense that the writers are focusing on this fantasy framework around Dota. Also the non-goggled Tinker looks like something you'd use as a creepy wall decoration. Also also, strange how Valve characters with goggles look all the more creepier without their goggles. Is that common in most games, or is it just a Valve thing?

Uncle Sam?

Old Tinker's head looked so much better than this oh my god he just looks so strange now, it's really unnerving almost makes me wonder if they're steadily improving all the keen, maybe some others will be changed later on probably just giving him compatibility and "improving" him while they do though

So I had what I think is a pretty neat idea; an illustrated encyclopedia of dota with drawn maps of juke spots, item descriptions, these sorts of things? If it were sufficiently pretty do you dudes think that would be something people might pay for? It'd take a long time to produce but it would be a really neat project.
Maybe; assuming Valve would work with the project.

That was pretty incredible.
Turtling is harmful when you're losing. The losing team turtled after a while, which was a bad decision.
I see someone watches Merlini.
Turtling is harmful when you're losing. The losing team turtled after a while, which was a bad decision.
That's not necessarily true. Yes, it is true in a sense. Turtling rewards the turtle-players with increased positional safety, increased awareness and potentially higher synergy. What it gives up are map control, farm efficiency and lane pressure. Most of the time, giving up those three things is disastrous, particularly in the mid game when they are arguably some of the most important elements. However, going into the late game or during a particularly aggressive mid-game with a late game dependence, turtling can easily be the superior choice. Carries can still farm, since creeps will still be coming in, and it prevents vital supports from being easily picked off.
