I think it's meant to highlight the cosmetics and not to give too much attention to background detail, or perhaps the artist just didn't wanna put in too much effort into it. Disregard that fact, and the cosmetic and the quality of the art is amazing.

Yes, risks tend to have some accompanied reward. But let's exercise a little [I]gedankenexperiment[/I], shall we?
If I put my dick into a Beehive, there is a high likelihood that I will be stung, mercilessly, by these prudish bees. What is the potential reward? Pleasure, or the claim I stuck my penis in something ridiculous? There are much more efficient ways of obtaining the first one, and there are ways that probably don't end in life change disfigurations if I want the second.
In the same way in Dota, in order to gain 'something' (you yourself did not elaborate on what your something is), Turtling is a much safer path. I could, theoretically, stick my metaphysical dick into the transient beehive of the enemy-controlled map, but there are safer ways to go about it. By fortifying myself and by extension my team in the base, we can still farm a whole THREE lanes! That jimmies two heroes out of income, but is not necessarily a fate sure to end in death. In fact, if the enemy is playing recklessly, or worse yet, decides to lay siege to us, we have a technical combat advantage. Do not underestimate the power granted by the high-ground and tower.
All your supposed plan of being more agressive, or at the very least, refusing to turtle, gains you is... dicking the beehive harder? I don't really know. There's a reason Na'Vi's hyper aggressive strategies are, while heavily admired, not carried out by every team on the planet. While Dendi, Xbox and Kroaky can safely give bees the goofballs, your average team has a... remarkably lower success rate.
