it is basically avoiding fights that you don't think you have a very good chance of winning, trying to secure farm on your carry, and taking advantage when the opposing team leaves objectives undefended. ie literally the most logical way of playing the game. it is implied with that term that the team is somehow being pussies for not fighting at every chance and letting their towers fall rather than mindlessly jumping in and dying.
