He does. And let's be honest, he looks pretty badass. It's a shame he's such a meh hero (which imo is due to his Q, the rest of his skills synergises very well, Bloodrage simply doesn't) that's countered by a tp scroll. Individually his skills are fucking sick. A 9 second silence that'll either completely neutralise a support or give him a massive damage boost, Bloodbath gives fantastic lane sustainability and means he can be back to full health when needed in a teamfight with a little luck, Thirst gives 522 movement speed eventually and shows heroes very quickly (ánd truesight under 25%!) and Rupture is fantastic against heroes who rely on blink/movement escapes like Dark Seer/QoP. Combined they simply don't work out all that well, sadly.
Drow Ranger is another common "face of Dota 2" hero

All his skills are great but his ultimate is easily the worst skill on him. It destroys lower levels and is absolutely useless on the higher ones. I think if Icefrog replaced that skill with something else that also had synergy with his other skills, he'd be amazing.
Drow Ranger is another common "face of Dota 2" hero
That and bloodseeker is probably because the first images of Dota 2 were pictures of them, as well as lina and morphling.

There's no denying his Q, individually, is fantastic. A few weeks ago someone here had calculated that with Yasha, PMS, Agility Treads and lvl 11 he'd deal something like 300 damage per hit with lvl 4 Bloodrage. I just think that combined with the rest of his skills it's kind of a waste of a slot in the sense that it doesn't do anything to prevent people from using a TP to circumvent Rupture - though obviously, when ganking, it's useful. Though I suppose it depends on what you'd rather see him as. Imo Rupture is a fantastic ganking skill, but when thinking of him as a carry yeah, it's lackluster.

Bloodrage may be lame, but it can also be quite useful, especially on heroes that rely on evasion skill (mute that bitch, see him run away). As you said, it is countered by TP, but that's why teammates must be aware of BS, almost same thing as Pudge hook + dismember. Thirst is also fucking wonderful, that Gondar that wants to run away on low HP? TOO BAD. It's also quite funny when enemies aren't aware of his passive and just stand low HP in middle of jungle without wards, and you just walk in with Pudge and hook them into death. (That is when you have Pudge and BS in team). I guess it just depends how you play him and with whom. o.o
Is it just me, or does Bloodseeker seem to be paraded as one of the more iconic Dota heroes? [editline]15th August 2013[/editline] Which is absolutely hilarious because he's easily the worst hero in the game.
When I first started playing Dota 2 (ohhh, about a year and... a half ago? Or so? Whenever Luna was just released) the hero I kept seeing the most was Juggernaut. And gosh did I ever want to play the Juggernaut. I was terrible at the Juggernaut.

Everyone might have differing opinions on Bloodseeker, but he's an amazing counter to Weaver if you pick up an Orchid. Pop Linken's with Q (or ult if you want to buff self with Q), silence, ult, hopefully outDPS the slippery son of a gun. Plus the movespeed and truesight bonus from Thirst is pretty useful for chasing a Weaver down if his ult's on cd.

Since y'know 5 seconds ago it didn't happen?

Rupture can't be purged and with maxed Thirst that very rapidly removes his Ult advantage. [editline]15th August 2013[/editline]
Wouldn't time lapse purge rupture? Bloodseeker is by far not the worst hero anymore. And while rupture isnt too effective on its own in the midgame/ganking phase; it really is disruptive in teamfights against movement based heros and melee carries (especially now it goes through bkb) The only problem I still see with him that the casting times on both his silence and rupture are too long. Mostly his silence though There's much, much worse heros in the game that don't really fit a niche or just are shit in their niche. Skeleton King, Witch Doctor are the prime examples

Admiral Kunnka was named for the Artist.

Click here to see his Dota loading screens: http://kunkka.deviantart.com/gallery/28025146 His old art was a sight to behold, but these new ones are kinda meh, perhaps it's cause of Dota 2's art style, less dark and gritty
Being immortalized in the form of a hero is incredibly cool.
