I have to admit I have bias towards Dota, but I play LoL of Legends with friends just to make them shut up about me being closed on new ideas.

ya riot is a shitty company, but the game can be ok sometimes and they have a few cool designs (my husbandu taric~~)

I have a friend who plays LoL and we actually get along just fine. He says he would play DotA, but he currently likes LoL and has no more hard-drive space.
So what we do end up talking about is stuff like Halo and Bioshock Infinite.

That's Annie for yas; she seems to be like Warlock, only with more fire and she's a little girl. Her Q is a magic attack that refunds the cost if she kills something with it, her W is like Dragon Breath/Dragon Slave, her E's a fire shield, and her Ult is a giant flaming teddy bear. Also her passive is kinda interesting; after casting 4 spells, her next spell stuns all the enemies that the spell damages.
I assume this would mean that her W would be a really good stun if she hits a group in a teamfight when her passive pops. But IDK much about League; I never managed to get into it for some reason. Still I'm indifferent to this kinda rivalry, even though League's microtransactions don't seem as "ethical" as Valve's, plus the Dota 2 Heroes have more chemistry with all those lines relating to their allies and enemies and whatnot. Otherwise IDK about the conflict between these two games.

The reason I don't like really hard carries is because either
A: My team is doing extremely bad and needs me now so I end up building midgame shit
or
B: I go midas and farm for 40 minutes and by the time I'm done we're up to their ancient
