I like thinking its her hair, but I generally do that in most fantasy. Its kind of why my head canon is that Orienstein is beautiful under his helmet. Its also why I love that this hat has her hair shown

It does still look pretty plushy to me, but I think real plushies would be more stylized/simplified, if only so it looks more cutesy. A bit like chibis. The green piece on Undying's right arm for example would've been little more than a green blob in such a style.

Yeah, I think you're right. Sometimes it's a little more difficult to translate them into plushies (and sometimes I'm not feeling very creative :v:). Hopefully it's only a few of them; I prefer them to have a little variance just because they'd otherwise be a little too samey.
