Mkay so compiling them into one image is lots of fun... the file is so enormous that trying to move layers around in it reduces my framerate to about .5.

Have you tried making it in parts? Like make 3-5 different smaller parts and when they're compiled, then merge those few pictures.
Fortunately I manned up and I think it's just about done. Pretty excited to get some posters printed! I wish I hadn't done the maths to work out that I'll need to sell about 100 posters to have made minimum wage though; not fun!

Turns out the posters I was getting made are a lot more expensive than I anticipated, so I'm just going to get them made through redbubble instead to save the hassle of having to stock.
