He's a garbage hero, imo. The only things going for him is the fact he pushes really well and nukes as good as any nuker early-midgame. No escape or any form of crowd control means he's extremely team/item reliant.
That said, he's got the best move animation in the game. #swaggerfiend
If you get a fast Shadow Blade he has very scary burst physical damage, but that's all he has. A fuckton of damage.
I can't stand playing him at all though. Raze is annoying as hell for me, not because of the range calculation but having to turn for it.

Shadow Blade--> Requiem----> Raze---> Rightclicks. Everybody dies, therefore no escape/tankability required. You do damage with him, not take.

A Fiend mid should be able to win as long as he doesn't take stupid risks and brings a bottle.

He got like a fucking 12 minute shadow blade, with aquila and other stuff
This was while lagging with like 300 ping. You could tell he wasn't making this up because he was missing razes and ults by like a solid second if not more. We won though so it was all good.

I'd even go as far to say nyx is the easiest support. All he needs is 6, an urn some boots and a stick.

Nyx is a dick to face against, but I meant the person playing the hero. All of the fucking Shadowfiends I have had on my team always call mid when there already is someone at mid, they always feed and blame their team, they start to feed on purpose, they start to feed the courier/steal items, they keep talking shit over and over and over and over again, and so on.
Most Pudges are dickish and elitists, they blame their team if they are losing and they shittalk but thats usually it, often times they do quite good too. Some Rubicks are either really cool guys or they are real cocks. Antimages are elitist assholes most of the time and so on, but the fucking Shadow Fiend pickers always feel that they need to piss off someone.

shadow fiend actually does have a skillcap, if the enemy aren't retarded shadow fiends will have a hard time most of the time, unless he gets all the last hits in lane he's pretty much screwed

I found Pudge/Shadow Fiend/Faceless Void to be the asshole heroes. If our last needs to pick a support/sololaner and they pick one of those three they invariably turn out to be assholes.

[B]Good news: I managed to get a model working for Nate for my Visual Novel.[/B]
Bad news: Because I couldn't find a modeller it's a skin of a HL2 model, scaled up to be a comparable size to dota models. Also, for some reason faceposing doesn't work on him. (If anybody knows why, that'd be great.)
So, without further ado, here's his sprites. The eyes are pretty basic because his eyes are kind of creepy looking by default, with no actual pupils, so i tried editing them in.

Guess is fair to say why I hate those three as teammates.
Slark and Riki share the same stigma as "shitslappers" who snowball out of controland yet most of people build shit on them and as soon the enemy team buys a gem or a sentry is "the team fault".
My NP hate comes from the fact they keep killstealing the fuck out of the carry and push the lane. In the late game when they have all they expensive shit they have the balls to say the carry is shit and buys rapiers only to loose them in 5 seconds.
Im yet to see a bro tier slark/riki/Np.
