This would actually be a good idea if it were handled by someone with better modeling and texturing skills. It could be like that salvaged sword and shield item for the late Skeleton King.

I don't hate all of these. Some of them just look like good concepts with poor modellers. Like someone mentioned that Disruptor one is pretty good and I think that Battlefury glaive for AM is a really cool idea that just hasn't been pulled off.
