VR porn, I see it comming
Sinful Robot has been around for at least a few months.
I had a dream where I played Dishonored through the Oculus. I was so sad when I woke up. I actually thought I had the consumer version.
I hate these dreams Having a dream about the bestest videogame of your wildest dreams and waking up and realizing that it doesn't exist and probably never will is the worst feeling of all.
I had a dream about using OR in a game, but my mind got all confused because games in my dreams are True VR in the first place.
Main problem I see with the Omni is when positional tracking is added in the consumer version it will really limit your movement such as crouching. But if you're going to go running for exercise purposes either way at least it would be loads of fun. Have a random video of Jamie using the rift.
I had a dream about using OR in a game, but my mind got all confused because games in my dreams are True VR in the first place.
When I dream about TF2, I am the character, and I can't read the chat in the bottom left of my eyes, it's all gibberish and blurryness.
to be honest it'll be a surreal nightmarish dream feeling like you've all had those dreams where there's no physical connection to anything but emotion being chased by something, falling, throwing a punch at someone only for it to decelerate and brush against them
Oh please fuck never make me think of this again Also, what is the recommendation on these things? Wait for consumer? Will price go down or up for consumer version, and what are the predicted benefits. Basically, is it worth waiting?

So I suppose it'll be better to wait for the consumer version as it will be a lot more powerful as well.
Does anyone know the status of OR support for ArmA 3? It seems like the perfect game for it.
Have a random video of Jamie using the rift.
I want to mount a camera on an omnicopter and fly around.

Woah, awesome. I too dreamed I was in a video game with the OR, but I also had these kind of gloves that let me grab whatever I wanted in any way in this castle dining room simulation. So I grabbed a sledgehammer and started swinging it around destroying everything in a completely realistic manner. Basically 2:06, in real-time VR, and with the whole room being destructible. Imagine games running on a physics engine like that... it'll come at some point at it will be awesome.
Only a matter of time before we can scan ourselves into virtual avatars.
I am totally gonna scan Matt Damon. Also, shouldn't it be easy to implement Oculus Rift in games that already support 3D Headtracking? Like in Flight Sims and Arma?
[hd]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HWn8Hn-XCds[/hd]
This made my dick pulsate.
[hd]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HWn8Hn-XCds[/hd]
Sounds like Gabe Newell a bit.
Only a matter of time before we can scan ourselves into virtual avatars.
You need like a million fucking cameras and a huge white room to make even one of those models, I think it's gonna take a while until we can start doing that
You need like a million fucking cameras and a huge white room to make even one of those models, I think it's gonna take a while until we can start doing that
I was thinking that people would go into specific locations to have themselves scanned, as a service. Not that people would have a scanning system installed in their homes.

Some running game made specifically for the Rift. Nothing complex. [hd]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K-2jY-jZnkg[/hd]
reminds me of the style the more modern sonic the hedgehog games have, just slower
I love watching this videos cross-eyed!
Some running game made specifically for the Rift. Nothing complex. [hd]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K-2jY-jZnkg[/hd]
I want to play this with the Omni.
Is this legit? I'd wear the fuck outta this
People could record footage of extreme sports with that and you can then download that footage and watch it with your OR. For example downhill biking or skydiving, you know, that sorta stuff.

Hopefully they'll be light weight. Crossing my fingers that the raspberry Pi can handle this thing!

That crowbar is amazing
