Don't you just need to turn something off in options?
I've tried every option.
Lowering shadow resolution down to it's lowest helps a bit, but I think that's just because shadows aren't casting as far so it's harder to notice.
Assetto Corsa is so far the best experience I've had with the DK2. I'd recommend you to try it if you can.

I spent a few hours in Half life 2 without getting nauseous. If I play it with mouse and keyboard I have to turn it off after 30 minutes because of the need to puke.. But with my 360 controller I had no problems at all.
The game is even better now than the first time I played it 10 years ago, damn.

Wont these DK2's sell for a great price before CV1's launch anyway or thats what ive heard? I dont really plan on selling it thought.

Seriously, there are times like these where you [I]need[/I] to plan your purchases so you make them in a way that makes sense. Buying a Rift without the hardware to power it is a bit daft, if we're being polite.
I would have picked up the graphics card first. At least that way, you'd get some tangible benefit without the Rift. You've set yourself up for a $500 VR paperweight, at least until you buy a new graphics card.

My plan was to get the best deal closer to when I'd get my rift, but life happened and now I have a car payment.
Regardless, it won't be a paper weight for long.

I got mine yesterday. Been having a lot of fun with it. It really is amazing. However, I am having an issue with closing demos and games. When I close them they sometimes makes windows go crazy. The start bar is black other than the start button. If I click on the start button a giant black box opens up and I can't see anything in my start menu. All the programs I had open are big black boxes. I have to restart the computer for it to return to normal. Has anyone heard of this problem?
I told my professor that there was a way to play Alien: Isolation with the Rift. His face lit up considerably, and I think I made his day feel longer than it was.
