Possible CV1 date (or near) hinted at by the Classroom Aquatic developers? https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/2094628033/classroom-aquatic/comments
Hey there Mark! After speaking with Oculus and Sony, we decided to push the release of the game to May of 2015. We'll be using this extra time to further develop the game, and to put it on as many platforms as possible.
Can't wait for CES next week.

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/2094628033/classroom-aquatic/comments
I read this earlier today. And the only thing that popped to my mind was "oh these are dolphins teaching dolphins heh" and went on. thank you bringing this to my attention. We all suffer from the heavy liquid toxins from 2014 still. What I think now is maybe its just the CV1 prototype for devs.
Had a great start this year; I spend the first few hours of 2015 demoing both my Rifts to some people. :v: [editline]1st January 2015[/editline] Was surprised that Lava Inc. ran smoothly on a laptop with just a Nvidia GTS 250M.

purty, facebook-looking stand
it begins (in 3 days)
Im especting CV1 prototype and possible CV1 timeframe of release. But mostly I think they going to show/talk about some of the lineup of AAA VR release games they been covering up.
I'm expecting public Crescent Bay demos (it was only press when they last showed em), along with either an Oculus controller, or a hand tracking input prototype.
Interesting that it looks like they've set up little rooms Have they ended up using valve's vr wall paper?
Starting to feel the hype, if they don't announce the CV1 they'll probably at least announce some cool new features

I can see it now, "Surprise! no CV1 yet, here's DK3!"

still anxious to see the actual price
still anxious to see the actual price
Expensive enough to cover costs with potential profit while cheap enough to not die in the most uninteresting way possible. I'd say $2-300?
Expensive enough to cover costs with potential profit while cheap enough to not die in the most uninteresting way possible. I'd say $2-300?
we've been hearing numbers around there for months, its a little too vague for me
we've been hearing numbers around there for months, its a little too vague for me
Well, it's probably about as good as it'll get until they actually announce a release. Still, here's hoping. I'd like to know how much broker I'll be.

Probably one of the best ways to visualize what it's like using the Rift:
