But the green power block thingies can't be touching each other, so I usually grid them with shield generators, like so:

Just got the game yesterday, and I occasionally get a weird problem in build mode where I rotate around a small selection square in front of my face rather than around my camera, which makes building more annoying than it should be. Does anyone know how to turn it off?

IIRC it's either shift-scroll or ctrl-scroll.

Fun fact, if I select my Weapons Computer on my Dreadnaught. All the cannons being highlighted drops the game to about 1 frame every 10 seconds. I had to have the game running on lowest settings just to bind them all to the computer.
