You shouldn't of used a fullbright map for the preview, all the shaders are gone.

If you want to see all animations coded in (since that was only 3 anim's) you have to wait until tomorrow for the good looking shaders, i think you can hold out that long. Sound is temp, right? Because that sudden stop at the end of each shot kinda makes it awkward.

But.. an Alpha is an Alpha, what can ya do.
For the ironsights, are you guys using animation based, or code based that offsets the viewmodel?

Meaning I played it when I was like 10 and don't remember much about it the actual gameplay except for killing a bunch of zombies+fred and enjoying the everliving fuck out of it
I used to play the first mod a lot when I was younger. Very excited for this.

The current HUD is what you will see on the Closed Alpha, but we will improve it. And thanks for the feedback, we will try to make it look better. Animations generally look a lot more pleasing.
What happened to the muzzle flash on the m9?
Probably hasn't been added in yet. The video was just to show off the animations.

But due to the delay, we can actually polish some stuff and fix some broken content that we actually found out. Anyway, The twitch stream also got delayed 2-3 weeks due to other problems, and thanks to that i can make sure that the stream doesn't freak out (buying premium for streaming so there is no crap ads or slow connection). We also changed to some stuff while giving out keys. Instead of the forums only I do it trough Events, but some keys will be sent trough the forums, but we also cut the keys so its only max 20-30 at launch, and then I will make something like Gmod 13 had, you go to a page and try for the best to grab a shitty key, once grabbed, its auto attached to your account + a notice where you can download the sexy launcher. Didn't get what i just wrote? just tell me and i try with a more simple form of english.
We are going near closed alpha release soon, we have finally fixed almost every retarded bug and/or glitch we found. And now we are just fixing the VGUI a bit and doing the last one "Skill". But since our team member MrJak left we need to redo the whole VGUI HUD part sadly (He made an amazing job on BBS for the past 2/3 years), its sad to see him go :/ Also here is some mini news about modding to BBS. We have made so that its easier for moders and non-moders to use their own Characters w/o breaking the game itself. Our programmer made so that we just load simple script files for survivors so that you can choose what model you can be. And you can also add some backstory into them. And we also made so that our SDK have something called "Addon Manager". With that tool its easier for anyone to make new content for BBS w/o breaking the game. So anyone can make their own maps and/or characters more easier and pack them up. So far we don't know if we should make them into VPK format, but we will see how it turns out. The reason why we are discussing if it should use VPK or not is because we can't make so that the game reads and writes the content within the VPK if it got the file addoninfo.txt (kinda like L4D/L4D2). We will also do that if you don't have the custom survivor, it will just use the default survivors/survivor1.mdl so that you don't get any error (kinda like helmet model on HL).

idk man, it depends how much you plan server owners to add their own shit if they have like 23000 plugins then downloading on connection might not be the most optimal, but just a couple playermodels and maybe the equivalent of HLStats or something would still be fine if i understood this correctly, i mean
