they definitely need to optimize the asteroids before doing anything related to bigger asteroids/moons/small planets etc.
Could you guys post some feedback in one of my suggestion threads? It's for a new inventory system, it would save quite alot of space, allowing for more blocks.

I hope they do. The game really need some faster way of building and taking apart ships/stations. It takes an excessive amount of time to build even the most basic of ships.

I hope they add a 1x, 3x, and 10x modifiers for the grinder and welder speeds.
I'm personally fine with the speed of hand tools if we get the ability to 3d print or use ship sized variants like we do the drills.
Also, can't wait for conveyors.
Does anyone else get really annoyed that you can't just "grab a reactor worth or parts" from a storage container? I don't want to remember the count and type of all materials when building a reactor.

Yeah, reactor components are heavy as heck
So I'm playing multiplayer with a friend. He can't see any military escorts, etc, but I can. Is this a known issue? Also, I can't interact with (grind, drill, shoot) with NPC ships and colliding my ship into their does nothing.
I realy think that survival isn't accessible enough. I mean for about half an hour or so I didn't know what the fuck i was doing. Granted I started with nothing but still! All these components are a pain to sort out.

I usually start with either the crashed red ship ir that one with the yellow ship, just fly towards an asteroid that you'll remember, see if a cargo ship spawns, park your ship, jetpsck to the cargo ship, disarm it, then fly it back and salvage it
I wouldn't go after cargo ships till I had a beacon. too easy to get lost.
Also, according to keen's polls, survival is the most popular game mode.

currently uploading a video of me showing off my new battlestar, since i would have to spam pictures to show it all.
My computer can't even so it's pretty choppy, but bear with me.
if you can get your hands on a Business Shipment, they make for insanely good bases. there's a good-sized landing pad, a ton of storage space, room for a medical bay and refinery if you take out a couple of the crates, two half-built assemblers, a few generators, and so many solar panels that you don't even need to worry much about energy. it's the full package.

well i am hoping they add interior blocks, i don't like using mods for something that should be in the core game.
Only mods im thinking of getting are the titan engines but they need to add a glow effect first.

these for fleshing out interiors a bit. Last two are awesome for making CIC rooms or battle bridges
the bunkbeds are fuck huge, i tried those already before on a different boat. The other two are a go. What about the rest of the ship? i have 2 more levels to fill :v:

i want a different block list for interior parts, i want ships to be completely fleshed out. They want a realistic game, i want a realistic ship. I'm talking about chairs, beds, showers, latrines, gyms, food prep (grills, fridges, bars), not to mention better looking walls.

man, i keep thinking about how awesome space engineers could be
2 enemy titans/battlestars/cruisers/whatever on opposing sides of the field, manned by a player, laying out AAA fire, while ~14 players (7 for each big ship) fight each other to the death in disposable (or tanky... depending on how pressed the players are for resources) fighters, and respawn in the big ship, rinse, repeat, until one of the big ships is dead, runs out of fighters, out of resources, or just decides to book it.

Sometimes i shoot my ships to smooth out the seams. Then they look kinda nice when i leave them in the right spots.

If it's reproducible they'll definitely track it down and patch it.

I've had that problem in singleplayer when I mine too much, it feels like time slows down and everything is in slow-motion until the game finishes processing all the physics for the moving bits of rubble.

He can't see them because he's hosting and his ships has left the world while your world hasn't deleted them, leading to that you can't interact with and he can't see some of the ships. Increases the longer you play as non-hoster since it'll spawn more and more without deleting them.
I got a 52mb update 20 minutes ago, but no changelog or news. I'm scared to open it.
