I have this glitch in one of my save worlds, where I can't move, I can go to my inventory and build ships and stuff, but I go straight through the blocks and it won't let me move. How do I fix this? Googling found me nothing.
Harder, but not stronger. A carbon-silicon composite would absorb the brunt of an impact but would ablate off in huge chunks like there was no tomorrow. [editline]9th April 2014[/editline] Have you done a galaxy class yet?
I don't like the framedrops I get from ships that are 500-600 meters or close to that so I have a hard time finding motivation to do those sizes, sorry. For the constitution 2 refit above, that one is already borderline too big since its 300-400 meters. Isn't there already a galaxy class on the workshop, not that its flyable or has good interior.
fuck that Enterprise is sex

Saber class escort. 1:1 scale. Fov is warping it a little bit to make it look wider than it is. Ofc is also flyable and will have interior completed soon enough.
Dat structural weakness.

I was under the understanding that carbon-fibre and carbon-fibre nanotubes would be both strong and flexible. Very conductive and possibly useless against energy attacks, but realy hard and almost immune to projectiles. (could possibly make a gameplay mechanic from that)

Dammit now that I know people here are making Star Trek ships I really like I need to buy the game
I have an issue in one of my saves, I am in a sort of spectator mode. I can't interact with anything, and have no player model. It's really annoying, since it's pretty game breaking. It's a known bug, but I have no idea how to go about fixing it. If anyone knows what the name of a player is in the save data, I could probably delete the string and maybe that'd fix it.

Is copy/paste not possible in Survival?

And carbon fibre =/= carbon nanotubes.
Is copy/paste not possible in Survival?
Not by simply enabling it in the options, no. I do wonder, however, if you can edit a save or the game's settings in the Steam folders so that copy/paste is enabled in a survival game, or if they hard-coded it out.
I wonder what today's update gonna be, it's probably a bit too early for conveyors, and they haven't been posting much media on twitter recently Maybe glass or dedicated servers?
I'd love it if we could change what effect emits from thrusters.
I'd love it if we could change what effect emits from thrusters.
Or better yet, get another form of propulsion.
chemical propulsion plz
chemical propulsion plz
Some form of gravity propulsion would be pretty rad too.
the magic of lights
And also coloured blocks I imagine.
Well, these Glass Blocks have given me a reason to come back to this, they look fucking awesome. :D
not the massive performance increase and extra cores? :v:
Pfft, fuck dat, I just like glass bro.
It saves in the background now, finally

Oh hell yes! You can do large ship to large ship cannon battles now with the artificial mass stuff!
welp I'm somehow getting worse performance now. Fraps says 50 fps when I look at the asteroids, but looking around is so choppy it feels more like 20 And it stutters like hell
So in the video the more transparent part of the glass is supposed to be inside the ship, yet for me it's on the outside, what gives?
