Absolutely love these devs, they're always doing their best to listen to the community.
Hey, Darth Vegan, do we have any sort of development roadmap? Have they got a "polish" stage planned?
let me czech
I could Estonia for that pun. Also, is now a good time to mention that I tried writing a section into my Space Engineers lore about a ship called the LAT Vienna (Reference code LAT-VIA) that became a derelict when its crew ran out of edible potatoes?
I could Estonia for that pun.
Was...was that you saying you could stone him for that pun...pls no..
the wheels are nothing but circular props which take very little damage. [editline]25th April 2014[/editline] They are nice to use though, as seen in my finished 2-rail train with some stuff inside it. Pre: [t]http://i.imgur.com/9grff60.jpg[/t] post: [t]http://i.imgur.com/C83Kri9.jpg[/t] Both craft were roughly 4,700kg and hit the wall at 40m/s.
My mine has appropriately become a minefield with all the wheeled vehicles I was using in it. I'm afraid to touch anything in there so I've just sealed it off for the moment.

So, are you guys playing online? Is there a server?
So, are you guys playing online? Is there a server?
No dedicated servers yet. It's all up to finding a friend who's online and willing to play.
Are you saying that space bumper cars can be a thing now? Oh hell yes.
I'm afraid I accidentially switched the two planes around, so no.
Are there more hotfixes for this update coming? Using a welder to fix a dent on my ship sends it spinning wildly off into the distance. Kind of game-breaking.
Also, not really a bug, but I'm not a fan of the way that the game keeps running when you open a menu or hit escape to pause it. Stuff moves around and gets screwed up while I'm trying to to turn gravity generators and other stuff on and off. I liked it better when things actually paused.
Setting the game to Offline should make everything pause while in a menu. Everything else makes it run in server mode.
IIRC they changed it in the last so that offline everything keeps on running while you're in menus, but they made pause break pause the game (at least in offline mode) From the changelog
- added Pause button (pause/break) in offline mode – now when you open the inventory in the offline mode, the game does not pause by itself (as it was until now by default) but keeps running. In order to do so you must do it manually by pressing the Pause button
I don't even use Pause Break for anything anymore, surprised to see this game has it.
I don't even use Pause Break for anything anymore, surprised to see this game has it.
My pause/break key actually puts my computer to sleep. It's that underused.
I really love the amount of content these guys are pushing out, but I really, really wouldn't mind a few patches spent fixing bugs and whatnot. Multiplayer remains often unplayable after a bit for me and my friend, yet we play anything else fine. Anyone else having issues like this?
MP is fine really as long as the host has a good connection.

Me and Juggernog were discussing an idea that we could mod eventually (or more him with his knowledge :v:) that we'd like to make a "bigger on the inside" ship, like the TARDIS.
You can press pause/break while in a menu and it will pause the game still.
Oh jesus, what do you mean by that? Have wheels got some kind of horrible bug?
Ships with rotors occasionally spaz out when you touch them, or they did, that may have been fixed.
Ships with rotors occasionally spaz out when you touch them, or they did, that may have been fixed.
They definitely still spaz out.
I don't see where everyone is getting these horrible MP slowdowns from. I've played many hours of SurvivalMP with friends and very rarely are there any connection issues. Sure one guy had a poor connection so he lagged but my other friend was fine, buttery smooth. It's all to do with connection between players, not the game itself. Sure it's poorly optimised right now but that will come in time.
Yeah, the only time I've had an issue is when playing with a friend in Australia.
Funny thing is, the friend who had the bad connection was only a mile or so away, while the one who was smooth as anything was somewhere in America.. [editline]26th April 2014[/editline] The friend who is a mile away also has better internet than me. One thing we never quite understood.
Would any of you guys recommend this game as it is right now?
