The ship has its own gravity field, which means it will stick to any surface the wheels are facing, including asteroids. Oh man I love Justice, good song choice. One of the best live sets I've experienced. How do you go about setting up a craft like that? are the wheel rotors just set to 0 torque and then controlled by thrusters?

I've been playing some multiplayer with my friends over the past week or so, and I've started a little museum world to keep a record of what I've built. [t]http://i.imgur.com/LQLy47g.jpg[/t] This is my newest ship. It's sort of inspired by a Jedi Starfighter, most notably the separated wing things. It's still fully-functional if they get blown off, though, since all the thrusters are in that pod except for two. [t]http://i.imgur.com/jRdPZcI.jpg[/t] This is some sort of space car. I built it so I could get from my cargo freighter to a station. I'm well aware that it looks like a penis, that much was unintentional. I modeled it after a 1930s Rolls-Royce. [t]http://i.imgur.com/YJSqmYg.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/e3h9cve.jpg[/t] This is the cargo freighter. In the original design, those side pods are detachable. However, that leads to the ship being ripped apart in multiplayer, so I decided to just build them into the spine. It's inspired by some concept art I found on DeviantArt after about half an hour of Googling spaceship concepts. It's too slow to dock with our stations, so that's why I built the shuttle. I just like it because it looks industrial, and I managed to figure out enough greeble to keep it from being too bargelike. The crab thing on the back is supposed to be some sort of automated repair robot. I also really like the bridge on this one, I think I did a good job with the interior. In our multiplayer games, we've all chosen color schemes based on our "federation." Mine's pastel yellow and grey with white stripes, to signify a neutral industrial faction. I think I've done a pretty good job reflecting that in my ships. What do you think?

I built a spacetruck today. It has wheels that don't spin (or it'd tear itself a new asshole) and a flatbed with a cargo container in it. Also, a nice hitch to tow cargo. Really enjoy it. I'll have to get pics for you guys sometime. On a side note, the thread title changed it seems.

What the dicks is up with the title? That's some powerful anger there.

Guessing a Mod changed it? Either way. Pretty hilarious.

Do the devs plan on buffing solar panels at some point, or do they feel they essentially work as intended as is?

Yeah, I just went to my CP and noticed the banner was changed to "stupid" and the title changed. Obviously a mod got fed up. NoDachi got banned because of this thread before so he must have been reported again.

It hurts me that the thread's icon is now a PS3 thing.

PS4 Space Engineers could be awesome though.

Feels like a mods just messing with us. Watch, the thread icons going to change to drugs or something next.

They constantly push the wheels down. You can see that there are two small thrusters pointing up, that push the ship down after every jump. If it wasn't for them, the ship would jus bounce the fuck off into space, and land reactor-first into some poor asteroid. The rotors that are connected to wheels however are turned off so they can rotate freely. The big thrusters on the back are what moves the ship forwards. You can turn with your mouse, thanks to 4 gyros inside. Longer video coming soon, I will also upload the ship to workshop when I'm done tweaking with the rotors.
