I've tried, I also tried removing blocks like cockpits and engines using setoolbox, but I still cant get it to work.
I'll try just removing everything except armour blocks or something

Remove damnatus from tester program. We can't trust him now.
I wish they'd implement some things like cosmetic items so I could trick out my secret asteroid base.NPC crewmen would be pretty neat as well.
It would also be cool if they added a mode where you are a miner and you have to mine a certain quota of minerals every now and then. It would certainly make singeplayer seem less lonely

Well you can always buy it from resellers or something along these lines.
Because you are from PL, I can tell you that I've my copy bought on Allegro ages ago (the day it came to early access), never had any problems because of it.
Price for it is 50 PLN at the time (~12 Euros).
Checking sites like allkeyshop.com can net you a better deal though.

a Moon style gamemode like that would be awesome. you go from asteroid to asteroid grabbing all the minerals and sending them off in little autonomous rocket pods, and they bring you useful stuff in return

Spent like an hour trying to gain control of a gravity drive ship last night. It would have been nice to know that artificial mass blocks are created in the 'on state'. 15 AM blocks being caught in three gravitational fields made a ship that was spinning erratically at maximum speed quite like a corkscrew ball.
Ended up just slapping warheads on the fuselage that contained the mass and blew them up.
Their shape (not the model) is the same, texture looks really great now. But I'd still like more variety (Modders get to it already god damnit)
Faster building? Thank god.

Size in this game is supposed to be a real consideration.

There's already a giant thruster mod somewhere. Don't think devs will add bigger thrusters in the game.
