I made a stupidly long ship, inspired by the fighter transports in X3

Has (as expected) great melee potential. Broke one of my other ships (2nd picture) almost in half with just one swing :v:
Right now it's supposed to be a military transport, but it could just as well be a mining command vessel as it has plenty of space to fit machines and the belonging conveyor system in.

I cannot get into ANY dedicated servers. "Steam servers offline", "user is not in group", "authorization failed". All sorts of error messages.

My server was causing that when I had the group filtering system on, but people are joining fine now that its off.

If you go to the profiles "edit group profile" area, it'll list the group ID at the top.
But the system doesn't work right now anyway, so oh well.

Hi whoever made the FP server, you should totally enable cargo ships, it'll make starting out much less annoying and slow
and intercepting those military ships with other people could be fun

The server is so big now that whenever I try to join it causes a memory overload and shuts down my computer. :suicide:

Just as I was about to sneak up on a commercial freighter :c
I figured that if one waits stationary in the path of the ship, you can let it slide past until you're in the blind spot of the turrets, and then disable them. Worked well with the huge mining vessel (until I accidentally stumbled into the room full of interior turrets when grinding through the hull)
Server is rebooting, DeEz says it was his fault.

I had no errors or anything, so I can't be entirely sure what caused it. Hell I couldn't even notice it had crashed.
Oh well, it's up now.

Yeah, just waiting in the path of ships seem to be the easiest way to capture them, then find an access console to disable the turrets.

lag spikes, and then some dudes came in and destroyed everything
When it's reset, we should all probably add defensive turrets to our stuff, that can be switched on immediately in case of griefers. At least, until group-based server joining is fixed, or we can start to password servers.
I'm coming on the FP SV soon-ish. If I can connect that is.
I have to admit though, it was fun trying to disable that heavy fighter with an assault rifle :v:
