Seems like some blocks didn't connect correctly, you can see the turrets on the top just slowly float away from the ship.

I think the new blocks are connector blocks. They messed up something in the code maybe.
What i mean is, maybe since it's supposed to connect different ships as one, they accidentally had it turn all the blocks into an individual ship.

My first prototype of this was made on our server but I accidentally hit it with my welding ship and the prototype flew away. ;-;
Man they really need to do some performance improvements, look at a ship with nothing in your hand? Game runs fine, have a block to place in your hand and look at a ship, lags kinda a lot.
I want to check out the server but between what I'm hearing about the netcode, the lack of saved player inventory, and how crowded it must be, I'm not so keen.

I don't think he's tunneling into the side of a crater, I think his base is coming out of the asteroid at an angle that makes it look like that.
Did they change the mining drill to actually deposit stuff into the storage things automatically?

Not entirely sure about the colours, and I haven't done the ineriors yet, but after that I'm going to build it on afro's server.
By the way, the server is really starting to take a toll on other servers I'm currently hosting, those lag waves you guys get affect absolutely everything on the box, if not even more.
Hopefully the next patch will start making the server a bit lighter... or atleast not utterly crushing for everything else I host.
But if it doesn't, someone else may have to host, if it comes to that I'll release all the settings and files to whoever's hosting, and also give them group admin.
Hopefully it doesn't come to that though, as I do like hosting stuff :D

Well as long as they make code a tradable commodity, rather limited, and make it easy to interface then plebs like me can still survive.
The thought of infiltrating a rival faction and uploading a virus into their station factory system to make it shit out a load of useless crap or something does give me Eve Online goosebumps though.

make a drone that searches a docking port, docks with it and then assumes controll of the ship, messing with shit like gravity generator settings and turning off weapons.
I still think, they should first just go with gmod thingy, numpads/keyboard hotkeys for certain actions while sitting in a chair/cockpit.
Easier to understand and not as intensive on server, which is a mess in current state. Warping moving objects should be fixed at first, especially long lags that occur when someone starts minning.
I know what I am going to make. Hundreds of little fast moving AI ships with warheads that are designed to just ram anything hostile. Basically the smallest equivalent to a homing missile that I can get.
Would basically create a space minefield out of them to protect my base. Have them well spread out.
