Don't put the thrusters on the parts. Make a self-contained thruster forklift that connects to the parts using merge blocks instead. It'll look cleaner.

I did this in KSP to rearrange engine configs on some of my interstellar ships.
coul I bring these 2 in? (the large ship and one of the small ones, or two if it's okay. One has like 6 rocket launchers so would function well as a cannon :v:)

So did I. If I was planning on sending anything to orbit permanently, I'd just make it all modular and standardize it to my station module system. Even my launch stages were modular to a point.
I just built a little forklift to move everything around once I sent it up, and everything worked great. No reason it couldn't work as well here. Probably better, even.

I've attached 2 of the aforementioned ships now. Going to attach the unidentified heavy-armoured warship and Timezbrick's ship next. I'm currently running the save through SEToolbox to remove floating items (floating bits of debris not attached to the hulk), set the speed to 0 (for some reason the hulk is now drifting downwards at a speed of 0.2m/s, seems like dampener overcompensation) and use the optimise feature. Got all of it backed up in case something goes wrong. Pictures to follow shortly. Current weight is a little under 122 million kg.
No, the downwards drift is one of the gravity fields interacting negatively with the Einstein's gravity drive. Either disable all gravity generators currently on or disable all 30-something of the artificial mass blocks. Just so you know, the generator that is actually powering the drive is called AAGRAVITYDRIVE. Turning that on makes the whole thing go forwardsish.

Going to merge the last ship, then take some screenshots.

Added one of my old, large ships to the skinny bit. It looks rather more plain than all the other ships included, but that'll be fixed with rocket launcher fire and rust paint when we've got enough ships (i.e. when it becomes infeasible for people to even load the save)

Speaking of more ships, should we have smaller ships implemented thus that they look like they've crashed and wedged into the larger ones?

Did anyone ever play Star Trek: Elite Force? There was a mission set inside a mash up of Klingon, Romulan and federation ships and there were all these hallways where you walk through an improvised hole in the wall made door and it'd be a different ship's interior on the other side.
