Because of that LSG video where hes showing progress on a pod racer track I got some motivation today to make 1:1 scaled pod racers:

This is in the running for the most incremental update yet. Oh well, I guess when it's every week, some weeks are going to be bigger than others.
Anyone having a problem selecting items that are in your hotbar if its not in slot 1?
Unfortunatley I cant muck around with SE as I am in Fargo however drill torpedoes are in the plans,Think the thing from "Tomorrow Never Dies".
gotta give the devs mad props, they're definitely quicker than most with churning out those patches

Ya my version with the grinder was lackluster so I shelved it ,with the large ship drill I will muck around with velocity control and see what I can come up with.

since the update placing conveyors on a ship will cause it to disappear. yep, it's that bug again

No. The Ultimatum series is based around conveyors, and i've never had issues with them.

I already made something like this with small ship drills earlier, so I thought, "Why not make an all-out industrial platform capable of digging through an asteroid?"

As said, it's a self-contained industrial platform, there's refining and assembly facilities inside.
As well as the forward-pointing thrusters! Since the heavy armour shell is quite big, I managed to fit the reverse thrusters inside of it in such a way that they break nothing. They're located in that small bump on the back, below the forward thruster.

Ive got a spotify radio station based off of carbon based lifeforms and it fits perfectly. super chill and space-ey.
Dunno who knows this but, large drills seem to go into overdrive mode when you use right click instead of left click.
Is there a way to automatically filter certain ores into particular refineries?

They drill super fast but destroy all the ore. Good for clearing areas, but not mining.

No intended way. There's an (unintended) way to filter components though
