Once we get programming it'll open up interesting things.[/QUOTE]Making the turrets fire slower than an equivalent fixed-direction weapon (or in the case of the gatling turret, make a larger-calibre autocannon alternative) would also work. While a large ship could still fit more of them, accurately hitting targets would be more of a problem if there's a significant difference in agility; so the smaller ship's greater propensity to hit the target with large weapons would be roughly balanced by the turret surface area of the larger target. Large bomb blocks imo definitely don't need a buff, but the small one is almost useless as it currently stands.

Just checking in again, i still frequent the thread a lot. I will pitch the idea of the thrusters from a few pages ago later to the developers.

Dazzle camouflage would be cool in this game. Since regular camouflage is pretty much useless, at least weird patterns would break up the form and make it harder for people to track your bearing and where your weak points are.
