[editline]24th June 2014[/editline] I cant see the reliance on the momentum driven weapons whay that is still a thing the gravity driven torpedoes work very well and dont suffer from gravity field interference very much unless you make a ship with 20 or so gs in any direction other than outwards(repulsion makes the torpedo hit twice ive tested it with ballistic rounds)

Reading all of this, I find it kind of funny because all of those terrible designs would be so inefficient - they take too long to deploy, use too many parts, don't maximise their destructive potential, leaves a bunch of debris, etc. - which is so antithetical to the point of engineering (which is half the game's fucking title) which is all about maximising efficiency. It's not space engineering, it's space [I]overengineering.[/I]

Trying to build a small fighter but if i add a Rocket Launcher too it, it blows up instantly. Any idea why?

Until hitboxes get fixed my carrier will only have Interceptors. Test of my carrier(it's ugly but this is just a concept to see if a carrier could actually work) im pretty sure somebody has already done this but i figured i'd try and do something myself.
