Are there any good LPers who stream actually good ideas regarding this game? Ectosage is annoying as fuck, and LSG's ideas are mildly retarded. These two are the only two I know who regularly post stuff.
so i learned two things today though.
im a shit engineer
and im a shit pilot

all of those functional components being used as decorative props are setting off my inner autist
Doesn't Squeegy's "Zealot" cruiser fire torpedos with the old rock system? I bet if someone took the time you could load it with nukes.
my game is broke. none of my ships respond to keyboard inputs. before you say it, yes i made sure nothing was unbound. yes, they are powered. but if i copy and paste a ship, and fling it, the thrusters do fire.
yes, i did revalidate the files. it downloaded 6 of them and that did fuck all.

Well, you could catch a couple nasty diseases if you're fucking everything

I thought that thing had a tendency to rip itself in half or something though. Thats the last thing you want to happen when your ship is filled to the brim with space nukes.

Where'd you get those chairs?
A silly WIP to replace my Bucket for catching falling ore. Tried to avoid having flat surfaces so ore would not stack up. I give you the Dentata-class ore collection and processing ship, the USS Toothy McToothington.

Its not mine I should have mentioned that,im attempting to build a similar system without the chain but im running into problems.

That movie was the shit. I wanna fight bugs in this game now, and not just the ones that come with it being in Early Access.
I still can't wait for Squeegy's next video
Neither can I.

Yes.
I thought that thing had a tendency to rip itself in half or something though. Thats the last thing you want to happen when your ship is filled to the brim with space nukes.
Also yes.
Zealous was built around many limitations. For one, it's currently about 10 times the size it should be because that was before we could adjust gravity fields. It also uses 3 times the space it needs to store ammo because you had to take the nose off each shell and load it manually, then slide the magazine over them, and then slide it another shell length forward to lock the shells in place to allow the ship to move without the shells bouncing around inside (because you couldn't individually unlock landing gear). It also couldn't move while firing because there was no way to automatically unlock landing gear (now there is). The ripping itself in half came from shells failing to exit the magazine 100% cleanly, usually throwing the magazine through the face of the ship. That wouldn't be a problem using landing gear with force limits.
When I eventually built another gun ship it'll be considerably more compact, carry 20x as much ammo, fire many many times faster, and each shell will do catastrophic amounts of damage.
It will also be able to fire while moving.
So I I took the concept of a repeating torpedo launcher from that video and decided I didnt like the chain aspect of it so I am trying to make a magazine fed version

I have a lot of respect for the guy who did the chain fed launcher this is a pain in the ass.
dont make nukes
not computer friendly at all lol

Although if there ever is PVP servers i think people should refrain from using them because it's pretty dumb
We have no shields or anything like that and they completely wreck shit. Even if you intercept one it's still going to chunk
I just crashed SE hard after a the clip went off its intended path it crashed into some station blocks in the process of reattaching it made the entire setup crumple and deform and then kaput.

Ill go out of my way to nuke LSG everyone else gets my vanilla torpedoes and or my other weapons, its about time to make another giant saw ship.
[editline]25th June 2014[/editline]
May see if a drum or revolver is feasable for large ship torpedoes.
Where'd you get those chairs?
You can enable them in the cubeblocks file, they're probably scheduled for the next update

Use a gravity shield, it works on that.
You would need a tonne of gravity generators to generate enough G's to slow down an incoming projectile though.
Best bet would be firing torpedos with turrets attached to them to engage at long distance.

- fixed control groups after merging/splitting
- fixed issue with merge block causing CTD and stops Dedicated Server
- fixed issue when switching while in load screen by using ALT-TAB and load worlds list stays blank
- fixed issue when connectors could not connect if mounted to the same ship
- fixed crash when merging small ships
- fixed pink textures on asteroids
- fixed dedicated server crash when socket is already in use
- fixed few instances where mining is not working
- fixed some symmetry is off (Cockpit 3 Large, Cockpit 1 Small.)

Well.
uhm.
This was a good update for function and the new passenger seat was a long time coming. I like Space Engineers' update scheme.
All this content is great and all, I just wish they'd make multiplayer more stable/less laggy
I agree. I don't play MP at all, but i know that since the main selling point IS MP at this point, it would be best for them to focus on MP updates. I, however, am glad for these utility updates, as it really benefits me and what i build.
They should add a warp engine that lets you switch maps.
Imagine setting a course for "Bill's Asteroid" and then a beacon comes up and you orientate you ship towards the distant beacon (probably just a ghost on this map) and engage warp. During warp you switch maps to bill's asteroid.
Nice to see connectors have gotten better, should be less tedious now to shift e.g. ore.

Not like they threw together MP in the space between the previous update and MP update.
I just want a remote control module, then maybe antennas would be more than just decorative(unless they actually do something right now)
