How the fuck do I use gravity generators and artificial mass to propel a torpedo? Every time I try it just spins out of control.
Remember when you guys were telling me ramming was pointless?
I have no recollection of this, and I would argue that with a little designing with ramming in mind, ramming is one of the most effective methods of combat. Every ship I build, I figure, it IS going to hit somthing sooner or later, and I want the thing I hit to be more fucked up than my ship.
Remember when you guys were telling me ramming was pointless?
LSG Said ramming is pointless.
LSG Said ramming is pointless.
LSG is pointless.
LSG is pointless.
I just said that the only one that said it was him. Guess I used to little words. The last couple of weeks I noticed that they are some huge assholes (which they ofc don't show in their videos) They being LSG(Arron74) and Lvg(Tazoo) Full of themselves to the point that it cant be measured. The only people they keep on their friendlists are people that are worse than them at the game so that they look good. The only other people are people that have something to do with the development of the game. + The only people they treat normally are the few in their tiny youtube circle or the devs, everyone else is a lesser human no matter what.

Oh my that is glorious.
How the fuck do I use gravity generators and artificial mass to propel a torpedo?
The orange ship is LSG.
Send him that. Shots must be fired. The glorious war will commence.
How the fuck do I use gravity generators and artificial mass to propel a torpedo? from they gyro back all my torps follow the same design and seem pretty stable.
Oh wow the merger block is pretty useful for torpedos i see Also i have another question this one im not sure is doable. My bridge is designed to pop out of a hatch via rotors, only issue is, I can't fire thrusters or anything from said bridge, any way to achieve this or do I just need to have an engineering room to bring it up to speed?
yeah you can't controll thrusters of parts connected with rotors. [editline]27th June 2014[/editline] Maybe you can if you make it connect to a merge block once it's in it's correct position?

It crashed Space Engineers as soon as they connected for some reason.

A type of armor that would take less damage from ramming and more damage from shooting. However, my idea was shot down by people saying ramming was pointless and dumb.
I want to get into this game some more, but I suck shit at making cool looking ships. I can make decent looking gravity cannons, though.
Finally retrofitted the sawblade ship with heavy armor and rebuilt the internals. Went for a bit of testing, and instant boner. The heavy blades litterally cut through light armor and components like mayonaise. Remember when you first played SE and crashing ships together was the funnest shit ever? This is like that with a chainsaw and alcohol. Shredding that ship was one of the most satisfying things Ive done in SE, right up there with finishing the ulysses and high speed spaceship piracy. Tomorrow Im gonna make the saws modular so you can swap them out when damaged or use something more practical, like a grinder array, then put it up on the workshop.
You should add welders behind the saw-blades so they sharpen themselves over time, it may or may not be very effective.

now that I watched it with music, it is genuinely fuckin scary
FP should really pull together and make a fleet we have got a hell of a lot of talent floating around here far more than some other noteable locations.
FP should really pull together and make a fleet we have got a hell of a lot of talent floating around here far more than some other noteable locations.
Are dedicated servers possible yet? Because I really think FP should have a dedicated server.
how do i webm [editline]27th June 2014[/editline] also has anyone else had a problem where groups are not properly saved when exiting and loading a save? this will have to do: been experimenting on compact arms with high articulation this hurts my brain
Last time I tried an arm it was on a salvage ship I ended up cutting the thing in half with the boom.
So I made a space station, it's not very big or original compared to some of the stuff I've seen in this thread, but still rather pleased with this though. The ring spins, and have grav generators simulating centrifugal force. Dude.
Now you have me wanting to make the Justice League's Watchtower

I started on the body of the ship I dont imagine it getting any wider or taller than this if I load it with scatter shot each cylinder will fire 340 stacks of 1000 stones which seem to work the best. next im gonna try out some anti ship measure some floating station blocks to deny easy travel through an area
-snip-
Well I completely uninstalled SE, deleting saves for good measure. Hopefully this fixes my issue. [editline]27th June 2014[/editline] it worked, yay i can fly things again.
You should add welders behind the saw-blades so they sharpen themselves over time, it may or may not be very effective.
Welders cant weld their own parent ships. [editline]27th June 2014[/editline] Wait a sec theyre behind rotors YOURE A GENIUS
