Locate the imagination switch behind the left ear, just behind the lobe, grasp the switch and turn it two clicks counterclockwise and then launch the game and go wild

You missed weaponizing flaws im sure a few docking clamps got re purposed to cut ships in half .
Also much obliged we should have a top notch fleet coming along soon.
On another note I have seen LSGs shipyard ,they dont use gravity drives.
fuck, i just had three hours of work ruined by some petulant griefing cunt who ate 200 of my assault rifle rounds then proceeded to fly my spaceship into a wall.
are there any facepunch servers where i could enjoy the game's multiplayer experience without space 9/11 happening everywhere around me?

watch some sci-fi shows you like that have space-ships and if one in particular looks cool, try to take the elements you like from its design and reproduce them in SE
eventually you'll come up with your own designs from hybrids of hybrids of derivatives of those elements, and that'll get you started making space-ships you've come up with and like.

alternatively you can just make whatever's functional and on an off chance you might cobble together a space and material efficient design that you think looks nice.

electricsquid it's not like people check every page for information on the presently running servers :v:
the RIN Sgriosach main gun got an upgraded today full turret rotation , gun elevation and declination and increased fire power on top of it already formidable arsenal .

Its insane how well the frankenrotors work the mantlet fits perfectly in the main turret body.

Has anyone thought of AP rounds to go through heavy armor? I made a small working one that went through 3-4 layers of heavy armor but was very hard to fire. Speaking of which, what about a missile turret that fires gravity powered rounds/missiles?
I was going to add a magnifying glass but it turns out you can't put glass on small ships.

I've done a few, although it depends on how you want the ap rounds to be launched, via gravity or just inertia (like letting go of them at a decent speed from your ship etc) also, a moving missle turret would be kinda fiddly since its easy for it to just wreck itself if you're not careful.

I don't even bother, because as of right now we can't use thrusters to power unmanned ships AND entities stop very quickly if collided, prohibiting penetration by inertia (the initial impact penetration mostly sucks)

Thats why for large block torpedoes/ap rounds you have them with a self powered, self pushing system, although thats kinda op, but you can still do wicked damage if you get them up to speed, like if i switched my frag rounds to all heavy armor and launched them at a similar speed, they'd go through maybe 3 light armor layers or 2 heavy armor layers.
After following this thread for a long while I finally bought it. I almost cried with joy because this game is everything I thought it was, fucking amazing. Shame about my computer though because it runs like shit, playable though. Any tips for a beginner? I made a mining ship but it kept spazzing out because of it's drill, would more gyroscopes fix that?

Making it heavier/adding more thrusters will definitely stabilize it, gyros only help with rotation

Not sure if you mean how I get them in or how they fit in so here's the answer to both.

There's space enough in front of the magazine for a shell and a person. You spawn the shells in front of each hole and then drive the magazine forwards over them. You cant spawn them in the tubes because they're diagonal (makes for a tighter fit). If you don't line it up correctly you've doomed everyone on board the ship because you'll bump into one and send it bouncing around the interior. You can take off the nose/rear and add stone at any point, it's just easier out of the tube.

I wouldn't recommend rebuilding what I've done, it's horribly inefficient and I'll end up making a better one later.
