I made a really cool carrier but i cannot bring myself to paint it. It'd be nice if the paint tool painted a square of blocks, not a sphere. it's literally hitler when I paint a portion, then walk around inside to see the paint bled all the way in. and it's so friggin huge that only shift+m3 can paint it.

Questions about the conveyor system. If I have a cargo container hooked into it, and a second cargo container connected directly with the first, will the 2nd cargo container take push requests?
my escapade today: went after a mining ship with a captured and repurposed military escort ship it went horribly, the mining ship was crushed and my ship was badly damaged i was forced to survive by cutting down my walls and using them for ingots tens of kilometers away from my home station, no idea where im going lost in space forever :--(

To be honest, they're small ship pieces so hardly damaging, more of an annoyance really, though it could get in the way of missles being fired at you. Couldn't quite do the same thing with large ship blocks as they'd have to be heavy armor, otherwise the explosions would simply destroy them, and being heavy armor they'd move a lot slower too. But even then, can you imagine getting one of these to detonate inside a hangar, even without the explosive damage, they'd cause havoc for anyone trying to get in or out.

So I just found out that you can completely bypass turrets by designing a ship with it's center of mass outside of the ship itself (Horseshoe esque ships), since turrets only target the CoM with pinpoint precision every single shot will fly past the ship. On that note I seriously hope they will overhaul turrets soon, they aren't useful except for asteroids and mass area denial at the moment, not to mention that ship to ship turret battles won't work well as the turrets are handled now.

How come every time I load my survival game, I gain like 50 m/s speed in jetpack mode and slam against the interior of an asteroid that I'm in and die? Really annoying.

They should give the ship turrets a manual firing mode similar to battlestation midway/pacific where you can move the camera around 360 degrees and all turrets on the ship point where you are aiming. The ones that aren't within view of your reticule remain in automatic mode and all turrets with a sight line on your reticule points at it.
Back again with some more stuff. New project I've just started today, put about half an hour or so into it. Nothing on it is final since I tend to change designs on a whim but I like where it is headed. This is a very small portion of the ship, a forward-looking command station.
