They probably are working on it. Most of these weekly features are things they had finished. Hence why modded have been able to enable them before they've been announced.

I'd really like a rework of missiles. Instead of just being things that makes holes and blow up my own ship, they're projectiles that have a customizable arming timer or they can be turned into heat seekers.
It would also be cool if the military minelayers actually laid mines.

you can make them lay mines.
put merge blocks or landing gear in the floor of the cargo area, then build a mine that consists of a warhead, battery, one thruster facing forward, and merge block (if applicble) then as you fly along, release the mines and let the dampeners on the mine bring the mine to a stop via the thruster.
Bonus points if you add a gyro and set all 3 overrides to full so it spins wildly and the one thruster can stop it from moving in any direction.

Not mines that we have to build, one by one.
Been playing some survival recently, and noticed a small but major annoyance; the shorter placement range in survival makes it really cumbersome to allign/place larger parts like the refinery and such.
Hope they tweak that at some point

In order to stop randoms from joining my sever and in order to also avoid blocking out people in my EvE corp who don't have me as a friend yet I've started naming my server creative things.
First it started out as "David is a Faggot", but that wasn't good enough. Here's to hoping Paindocs Furry Funhouse really keeps everyone away, it hurts me to type it

screenshot is crap but the MK II is refitted may add more armor all the thrusters are inside the shell with only slits for the jet,its a glorious cantankerous Hulk of heavy armor,the Entire bow until the thrusters is solid.

also setoolbox allows you to convert entire ships back to framework so I made a creative server and pasted in the giant red ship all the way set back to 0.5% frame and made that my objective by restarting the server in survival
Gives me something to do

Just give your server a french name that doesn't catch the eye and doesn't look spanish. BAM, excluded the majority of North America.

Just checked; it doesn't seem to. 'Orbits' around a spherical gravity generator have two highest and two lowest points, as opposed to the one apoapsis and one periapsis that they should have. This leads me to believe the generator is providing a constant force towards its center instead of dropping it off over the radius squared.
That made my head hurt.not sure how to weaponize it,thinking maybe a minefield to pull ships with a gravity drive in.

Option 1: Tack a warhead on it. A bit like an inverse-magnetic mine with the added bonus of flinging the target ship around.
Option 2: Coat a ship in drills and put one of these at its center.
Anything with mass is now turbo-fucked by either of these.

pretty much that also blast doors in place of drills those really fuck shit up.
also it would take a lot of dicking around but set up a mine so a piston breaks a container and sets off a warhead (cargo nuke) but overload the power source so it all shuts down until something collides with whatever is drawing power and destroys it.
I think my new naming convention is going to be naming ships after songs.
Also Im working on a system where Ive got a small large ship with merge blocks that is pretty much a universal bridge/escape pod thing. So far Ive got two ships that it fits on.

Do you have a ship worthy of the title "vercingetorix" yet?
Did the fact that cargo contents stay if cargo container is destroyed get patched? I'm trying to make nukes and warheads don't set them off
