Made this little thing in our survival server. Its only purpose is to transport large quantities of materials between bases. It left my shipyard traveled to the first base and picked up 300k steel plates then brought it to the dome base under construction. I'm very happy with how it turned out. How do you make a railgun? All I managed to do was turn my ship into a railgun, it destroyed most of one of the big red ships, but it also completely demolished my railgun ship. :v:
You need a fuckton of Gravity and a way to load projectiles,the method I used was a grinder and a crate,this actually works well as the idivdual piles drop as one so I could have 13 piles of 1k stone or one pile of 13k stone,sadly my space blunderbus drifted off into space after I overloaded a crate and got a rock jammed into the barrel turning it into a gravity drive.
Don't put artificial mass blocks on the same ship-grid as the gravgens. Use small ship blocks for torpedoes, since those are easier to fit into a barrel and send flying. That said, I've had problems trying to configure my own grav cannon ships; I don't know whether to make the containment field pressing inward (so that things fit into the small channel in the middle of the barrel) or pulling outward (so that a torpedo with mass blocks on arm has each arm pulled outward equally, theoretically keeping it inside the barrel). I've had some pretty catastrophic failures with the first method and I haven't tried the second, but I don't know if that's just an inherent instability of using gravity generators.
I know this game is all about the 'Engineering' side of things but I would love it if we got gameplay akin to Starmade. So that there would be a need to form together to protect stations and such.

Make timer/group combos for each leg set (like a group for the middle left leg and the two outer right legs, and vice versa) so that one set moves forward, then stays still and/or triggers the movement of the other one, and a reversed arrangement for walking backwards too. While the middle leg is moving up and forwards, the end legs move down and backwards, and it's the opposite on the other side. It should remain stable as long as three legs are contacting the ground. Is there a way to fill your inventory or a container with resources in creative mode? Like if I just want a container full of uranium without actually having to mine it myself?

Uranium ingots and ore are an option, I'm pretty sure.
