[QUOTE=krail9;46459690]anyone else having an issue with the advanced rotors where they just don't give a fuck about rotation limits and go straight past them??[/QUOTE] I think the worse thing about rotors is there's really no way to tell visually where a rotor is sitting. They have lines on them, but a colored line to show where it currently is wouldn't be too much to ask for, right?
I think so? I once tried to build a mining ship with a number of rotors, they said "lol fuck you" and snapped when I wasn't looking.
That giant walking mech relies on rotors respecting their limits I anything goes awry it rips itself to shreds

you guys remember this thing? [img]http://cloud-4.steampowered.com/ugc/39732717388649345/82807F9232CE5C10D93A60FED768B6AB589543A3/[/img] thats a fighter behind it for scale. [editline]11th November 2014[/editline] it lags so badly that i didnt even want to try and repaint the thrusters on the side, as this was pre-paintable thrusters lol [editline]11th November 2014[/editline] i think i might try re-making something similar
So I made a series of fighters to go in my Akkan and got carried away. From right to left: [t]http://i.imgur.com/seOUEDH.png[/t] Falcon Prototype 1, Proto 2, Falcon F1, Heracles B1, and the Cassius A1. All based off the same frame but with different goals, with the F1 (8x gatling) being for general fighter use the Heracles as an attacker on capitals (hence heavy armor + 4x gatling 2x rocket) and the B1 (same as A1) being used to generally blow shit up or support the A1 without a pilot. I gave my Akkan a name since my Grandfather was the one that got me into space and flightsim games (he was a HUGE pc gamer), and with it being veterans day it seemed tomorrow it seemed fitting. [t]http://i.imgur.com/RIgimXw.png[/t] He was a 30 year veteran of the AF and retired as a Colonel, spent most of it flying 135's [t]http://i.imgur.com/gJWX1RI.png[/t] SE toolbox refuses to import anything symmetrically [t]http://i.imgur.com/FPwEo4G.png[/t] Overall, it matches the source material well enough I think

what the fuck [editline]11th November 2014[/editline] that's like almost a month in hours
[QUOTE=Kommodore;46461234]what the fuck [editline]11th November 2014[/editline] that's like almost a month in hours[/QUOTE] How about almost 1/4 of a year/3 months: 2025 hours. (next level no-life)

Although tbh considering the interior is hollow and the armour is light, once you ram inside you've basically already won :v:
I played the free weekend awhile back with friends and it was worth. However I'm kinda broke so I've been playing CSGO to get crates/items to sell to then buy Space Engineers. :v:
[QUOTE=Sgt Doom;46461757]I challenge thee to a duel, good sir! Although tbh considering the interior is hollow and the armour is light, once you ram inside you've basically already won :v:[/QUOTE] You might win though because i didnt put enough gyros in it and there's very minimal weapon coverage on the bottom Besides, i'm a way better fighter pilot lol [editline]11th November 2014[/editline] although it does have grav propulsion too so it's really god damned fast

[QUOTE=JesseR92;46461158][img]http://puu.sh/cM8fG/276a53290e.jpg[/img] I dont know if I got my moneys worth yet.[/QUOTE] I got 607 and I got mine's worth way back in last year's November when I was crashing ships into another ships :v:
572 hours sounding off
558 here.
I made a large ship that for once I'm actually happy with the way it looks! The TSF Regulus is ready for space. [t]http://puu.sh/cMXbD/2c8f8d27c8.jpg[/t] [t]http://puu.sh/cMXlf/658e62bc3a.jpg[/t] [t]http://puu.sh/cMXnl/2a24890660.jpg[/t] [t]http://puu.sh/cMXoX/94e0c3a66a.jpg[/t] [editline]11th November 2014[/editline] Also, 225 hours.
That's pretty darn neat-looking.
Only 40 hours here, though I expect when multiplayer is improved enough and programming is added it will probably go up to 200+ hours in no time. :v:
Only 208 hours, but it's been steadily climbing. I'm on track to overtake both my Fallout and Skyrim hour counts, and at that point I'll be halfway to overcoming my Gmod hour count. At this point I kind of wish I had a tracker for how much Minecraft I've played, because I was heavy on that shit for something like four years and it's one of the few games that compare to this one (sandbox, block-based, has survival/creative, etc.)
finally figured out a solid, reliable autoloader for gravity projectiles [vid]http://fat.gfycat.com/BareBadIchidna.webm[/vid] it looks pretty simple but it's been hard to find a mechanism and ammo shape that's actually reliable enough to use seriously currently it feeds from a 5-stack magazine but it could be a lot larger, I've fired multiple mags through it and haven't had a single jam and it's very easy to load messing with different types of ammunition is fun, the one in the gif is a warhead that detonates via sensor, which only arms once it leaves the gun so it's pretty much impossible for it to go off in the magazine [editline]12th November 2014[/editline] two shots against 3 block thick armour [img]http://puu.sh/cNfOJ.png[/img]

It's pretty neat, but not perfect. The sound is all screwed up, and if it hits a thruster or a sloped piece from the Armor Ramps mod, it'll just delete that block and not have any area of effect beyond it. Still, though. About damn time we got more than missiles and gravguns to play with.

They either took it down or I cant ind it anymore.

They're really going slow with the weapon mod capacity updates. Because I'm looking for a loader mechanism for my own MAC gun and if this fits in the space I've got inside the ship, I'd love to use it.
I need some thrusters that are around twice the diameter of a titan engine. Anybody know of any?
